Curtis played behind Buster Ascoll and Morris was a sophomore that played a small role on that team. The 94 team was led by Ascoll, Merritt, Worster, Friend, White, Johnston, Gross, Nichols, and a very good coaching staff. They were definitely not led by Courtney Curtis! Also LCM beat WOS in 1983 not 1984. They beat WOS in 1994 and WOS had to forfeit their win in 1992.

JD Thompson is the kid you must be talking about? Last I heard was that he was still @ WOS, but also heard he was supposed to be transfering not sure tho. I also heard another kid was supposed to be transferring to LCM. But I know for a fact he's not just rumors being sent around Mustang Country!

I wouldn't consider two to be high.

I would consider 2 to be very high for a team that just played for the state title. It seems to me that good players would be transferring "in" and not out.
