Read the other comments and you will see what I am talking about. but Since you broadcasted the game you watched: bad base running, miss judged fly balls, past balls.... IT'S IN THE BONE Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 In my book the better team last night won the game...could-a-should-a-would-a....and if the queen had a pair she would be the king. Guys errors are as much a part of the game as batting averages, RBI's, walks and K's. The better team is the one that gets the "w" and next time they meet that team may or may not be the better team. Yes sometimes one team can play flauless and loose a game to a team that has the ability to out score their mistakes, but my theory still holds true if the other team was better than that would not be possible. A hit IS a ball that can't be caught with normal effort, in todays HS scorekeeping IF it don't hit the glove its scored a hit, Don't know the particulars on baserunning BUT IMO BC lost due to Coach Landry playing percentage BB, I along with many others would have done it the same, it just bit them in the rear this time. Another :rolleyes: Critter, Saying AAW has "hate" for BC is a little much, you must remember that he wears maroon to everything and the "envy" reflex is very strong for that reason so his remarks tend to be a slanted. I'm actually just poking fun at AAW! He's really a good dude and does a fantastic job promoting sports in our area. He was always beyond nice to me and my son at any event we saw him at and for the most part complimentary of other schools when they played Silsbee. We had some great conversations during our 4 years of BC vs Silsbee baseball/football and I consider him a friend and a friend of high school sports in our part of the world. Just my humble opinion.
