Asking for OR agreeing to ask for help is something you should see more of in High School BB...... I just wish the help he asked for last night was paying a little bit more attention to what was going on.

Umpire was in correct position for a play at the plate BUT not in position for what transpired and he knew it.... he asked for help, 2 0f 3 said runner scored first and he went with it.......2 of the 4 were definitely wrong, the only ump that was right was the one in the rundown.

The posters you speak of are WELL beyond being cut LOL....theys just telling the absolute truth, they darn sure do pickup players for a game or 2 and then claim what the OP posted

Actually he should have been watching to make sure the plate was touched, she has no reason to be standing there without ball or ball on the way......PERIOD.

Correctamundo, the only time I think its worth the extra drive to a La ramp is Nov and Dec....

Another thing about Tx and La water, DONT bring La sized fish in Tx water PERIOD and don't bring a Tx sized fish into La water..by this I mean don't take a La. sized or limit into Tx and don't bring 2 27 1/2 reds into La water and it DON'T matter where you put in.

You can NOT fish anywhere, don't go in any bayou or cuts on the La shoreline in the lake, >in< Chennier and the cut N of it is considered La water, on the N end >East Pass< is La water also. I have been checked while just outside the mouth of Willow bayou, the La. GW asked for lisc, said it didn't matter which lisc BUT if I was 10' farther into the bayou I would have to have La lisc . I have heard some La GWs require you to have La lisc for the La side (inside) the jetties, but others do not, if I ever get checked inside on the La side I will show my Tx lisc even tho I carry a La lisc, Tx GWs will tell you its legal to fish anywhere inside with ether lisc

Gladiator 12U is playing in Cooperstown NY, [Hidden Content]; in a tourn with 104 teams. They are one of the 8 teams left, will play at 1100 our time. This morn the Gladiators (14th seed)beat the #3 seed from Pa 9-2, Greyson Kash had 10Ks with a HR for a little help. He did pitch a no hitter the first game of the tourn, have had HRs from most if not all the team. Outstanding tournament along with a good showing from SE Texas....

Good pitching beats good hitting, its the fielding and walks that will matter...

The first thing need to be asked is what league and rules, its a pure judgement call, some if the ball is in flight to the fielder the runner better slide, then if you have malicious contact then its the double whammy hes out and gone. If the umpire thinks a collision could have been avoided then expect him to ack and should, its all about SAFTEY

Bedelmon, your son pitched a great game, I see nothing has changed much at HJ>pitchers getting it done ONLY to let down by poor defense, not only the 'Es' but not getting outs on >>>3 run-downs<<<2 of which came after pick-offs which should have been elemetary. I wasn't aware Duplant got tossed last game after 'mild mannered Coach Erickson' got his trip to the bus, coulda used his bat no dought. I would have thought Buna would run away with this game due to all the talk here but they did have a fair showing against a soph pitcher...BTW how many other coaches have been tossed this yr and have to make a trip to Austin with their coaching future on the line....
