1. Coach Landry of BC was coached (wasn't just on the team, he was a starter) by one of the toughest if not THE toughest coach in college...PURE old school baseball and he brings that to his team. I don't have a kid on the team but will say C Landry will not put up with a lot you see from other teams. Knowing him since HS ball, I will say he's one of the best baseball coaches in the area....BTW I'm a HJ fan UNTILL BC comes to town
 2. Before you respond Franchise NO it wasn't Rounder in the 39th, it was 11th, 33rd n 45th for him...and you? BTW you can smite me all you want I can take it, for all the grammer n spelling cops I really tried my best to please you :) OH yea he was offered a full ride at Northwestern after 3 yrs at JUCO, turned that down also...so thats twice now you have heard of someone turning down a full ride, juries still out on the best SS and pitcher in the area

When my son played there (95-98)the baseball coach would have a hard time paying for umps much less the baseballs. One question I would like someone to ask in any meetin>booster, school brd or whatever is how many kids were awarded schollarships in ANY sport besides baseball, I'd be willing to bet FFA kids got more than football and basketball combined.
Sounds like HJ needs to sink some money into their English program and leave the athletics to Silsbee and WOS.
Read above post^^^and the impression I get on you 2 will get me banned ifn I post it. Hope I got all my I's dotted n T's crossed, I didn't use any verbs or adjatives out of place, ya know adverbs and stuff like that. I didn't know it counted off

 5.
I'm sure you were told by someone that it was a full ride but schools hardly ever give full athletic scholarships for baseball
Your correct....the guy I heard it from was coach Gilligan and was during the early signing,> IDK who is the best SS or pitcher in the area..

 7. Franchiseball >>Rounder would be correct but opted to take another at Seminloe St

I wasn't at the game last nite BUT I was there on the other game you refered to, there were at least 5-6 'ducks' I saw and ONLY 2-3 balls that were 'drove' by WOS....sometimes there is more to the story than what you read...when you put a W, E, duck, E, W and another duck together in back to back to back innings it don't take much to run the score up.
When a pitcher walks like 6 batters in a Row it is way to long.  I mean some on 5 runs on no hits. If you wasn't at the game then you won't understand what I am saying.
I'm big on letting a pitcher get out of a jam BUT...will agree on wayyyy to long, I was looking at the linescore n Ws was not included, still say the soph did good considering his opponent...he will get better
 9. Well if if Custer had machine guns it would have been different....

 11. Caught the last 30-45 min of it, kinda cool for me when I heard where Todd Faircloth was fishing, "off Big Hill Bayou in a lake". I have fished the same waters yrs back LOTS, he's speaking of Blind Lake or its the only lake I know of off Big Hill. I KNOW he didn't pull over into Murphries. He could fish 2+hrs extra each day v/s running to where some were. Heard of some running E of Lafayette. I guess its no difference than the Redfish guys running from Clear Lake into La....but them guys won it tho
 12. I'm thinking HJ is about to do a 'about face'.  :)

Never put a glove on it, it's a hit. Should've been caught no doubt, but you know the old phrase "shoulda, coulda , woulda!" Rake1
So what your saying if a fielder lets a ball go between his legs with his glove on his head its a hit....a errow is a ball that can be caught with normal effort plain n simple....this is why you have kids with high BAs
 14. Thanks D, its been a long time since I was inside the fence....
 15. stay out of East Pass along with the bayous
 16. Its awfull early in the yr to be talking about a pitchers perfomance against whoever, Do you honestly think Duplant ain't had any mound time in over a yr, its really trivial what he or any player does this early in the season, most are still not conditioned....
 17. Batter hits ball over Rf head ball goes to fence, he rounds first he runs into 1st baseman but don't fall, continues gets thrown out in close play at 3rd. Umpire acknowleges the contact but says he could award the Bat/run 2nd base but not 3rd
 18. I got one yrs ago from a HS coach who was upgrading, mite look there
 19. Hardin and Tyler, so I can get 2 forked horned +13 from each county, my sugestion on taking a deer with greater than 13" IF you have to think 'will he make the cut' DON'T shoot. I rattled up a 2 1/2y/o 4pt 3 different times at one loca yesterdy morn, when he would get out of site I would hit he horns litely and he would come back, he couldn't get around to wind me as I was sitting on the N side of Pine Island with a N wind blowing, one time he was inside 30yrds. At another loca I just didn't sit long enough, after a 20-30 min wait I stood up and took 2 steps and something blew at me n left with NO ID, mite have been the one but who knows....
 20.
I'm hunting in sour lake so I bet its a lot different than south or east or west texas
Where do ya hunt in SL, we hunt the property North of Little Pine Island Bayou from Bevil Oaks to Pinewood, we get to it off Hiway 421, we do good yearly but are very selective on who we let hunt and what we shoot...
 21. LAMPS is nothing more than using doe permits instead of regular tags, most of the times you get 1 permit per 100acres, in some situtations you get more if thought to need more does taken. It does allow you to take does all season with the permits. One thing you have to worry about when going to MLD is loosing your lease or going UP on lease fees which WILL happen sooner or later...
 22. Where did the Trippletail come from???? thats your best fish.....
 23.
Going today to look at a 24 1/2 ft SeaChaser.  Anybody have any experience with SeaChaser?    Made by Carolina Skiff.
I have a 22' Sea Chaser with a zuk 200 I love it, no problems, runs really good in a good chop, wish mine had trim tabs tho. 25. I have a 1K stage lite I use, for yrs I used locomotive lites set up in series due to them being 35volt 200 watts each. There is a place that sells the 1k lites along with the 'cans' they go in on Major drive in Beaumont. From College turn West on Major place will be on the south side of the rd. about a cpl of blocks down. I can't remember the name but am thinking its a sound store with some lites.....
