Former Hardin-Jefferson player Kevin Roebuck hit a grand slam for Lamar on Sunday to put the Cardinals ahead against Sam Houston...hit a walk-off 2-run home-run to lead the Cardinals to a win over University of Houston tonight.
Thats all he's needn is some ABs....
 2. While there has been talk of building a pier in the Rollover area, TPW or someone has let a great oppertunity sip by with the destruction of the Causeway bridge, this hurricane tested bridge would have made an OUTSTANDING pier.
 3. Pretty sure the umps had a short nite....
 4.
I know if a pitcher makes an attempt to pick off a runner on first but fails to throw the ball it's a balk. Now why isn't it a balk if the same thing happens on second? ( Second is the only base being occupied )
Cuz he releases the rubber, if he releases or steps OFF the rubber with runner on first he DON'T have to thro in this situtation ether, could be thats why Mr Ump had PITCHER in upper class cuz when a pitcher releases the rubber he not a pitcher...
 5. The one I'm talking of is in the Big league, you'll know him when you see him, he's from the Dominican I think....
 6. Watch the new guy on the Astros, one of the wierdest windups-stretch I've ever seen...
 7.
Yes he can!!! Its a shame but the Gladiators are prob gonna loose him this summer & fall... WHY WOULD THE GLADIATORS LOOSE EVANS?
Most probabally be recruited by another select team that will make him a deal he can't refuse, I'm not gonna say by who BUT you mark my word, He won't be the only one recruited from the Gladiators....
 8. Whats happened to HJ this yr, are they shooting themselves in the foot or in the HEAD....
 9.
I said congrats? Q.Evans can rake!
Yes he can!!! Its a shame but the Gladiators are prob gonna loose him this summer & fall...
 10. OF hit 3 or 4 tonite, if Quinton Evans don't slow down the Gladiators are gonna loose him, probably to late now...

 13.
West brook has the harder schedule, out of the 3a 4a teams in this area, and theyve proven themselves with wins over bridge city and nederland... That should earn them a spot higher than seven.. and i just dont see a team in the area that can hang with west brook 1-9
I'm thinking both the wins were in a tourn, I'm sure you would see a difference if not in a tourn, BTW isn't a cpl of losses for WB from a 3a or 4a team???
 14. Good pitching WILL beat good hitting ANY day, Vidor better bring it, cuz Sweets gonna....
 15. Will depend on what your playing...LL, Pony, HS ball???? I'm sure Mr Ump will ask so what is it?????

Offensively the Indians hit I believe 3 homeruns as Jalai, Sweetenham and Reyenga went deep. For a team that has lost their Div 1 pitcher, the Indians are sitting atop 20-4A with a 2-0 record with wins over LCM and Nederland.
Look for more out of Sweetenham this yr, looks as if his offseason training is paying off...
Coach Stone had them doing the P90X during the offseason.
Actually I was speaking of his work with a Ex Pro pitcher along with whatever coach Stone had them doing

 18. Something you mite try insted of a marker bouy>>> am thinking you have a GPS, if so zoom way in when you stick a fish hit MOB and continue your drift till your out of the fish, come back around to your MOB or to your tracks and start again. I learned this this hard way, just as you described but I was offshore on a unpublished wreck, the marker bouy WILL give your spot away specially if your bouys on the apex of the spot...
 19.

Batter hits a line drive that hits the top edge of the first base bag and pops straight up in the air.  The first baseman comes over and makes the catch before the ball hits the ground.  The batter continues and runs through the bag.  The first baseman does not tag the bag because he catches it in the air.  Is the runner safe or is it a pop out since it never hits the ground?
The bag is considered the ground, just like the fence.  The ball is in play and the runner is safe.
X2 now with the pitchers rubber I think its different.
 20.
HJ got pounded this tourney!
Surely your not surprised....

 22.
It seems Kelly Is always disrespected and not given very much credit especially when even though their district is four teams deep it is extremely tough with very strong Houston schools
Always been like that..I agree Kelley has always done well in their dist allong with beating up local teams for YRS
 23. Went Sat BUT not over a reef, I don't think it would have mattered, we struck out. We fished the North end, East Pass, Blacks, Coffee G, La shoreline, Gulf States, threw plastics, Corkies, Catch 5 n 2000, mudminnows and probabally forgot to mention something BUT nada...
 24. The last time I took a head shot was when I was about 15 and that was 41 yrs ago, after an ORDEAL my dad finally cut the deers throat, I learned a lesson that day that you havn't, I'll be the first to admit I only had a Leopold sitting on a Rem Mod 740 30-06 and NO Marine training. I'll also admit I aim for the boiler room whereas if I'm off and inch or three I'll still put the animal down in a VERY humane way, if your off an inch or so you'll be dealing with the same thing I was 40yrs ago. BTW Whiteoak acorns fall FIRST and most are done by Mid Nov, the acorn that the hull covers is a Overcup and Redoak ARE the LAST to drop....BTW I shoot a TC Encore 280 with a Nikon 6x20 and will say any gun is only as good as the optics on it...
