IT'S IN THE BONE Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 Great game Tigers! That's clutch Baby! Quote
Silsbee92 Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 Great game. Bergeron threw well just needed a few key outs to shutdown some rally's and just couldn't get them. Tigers capitalized on pretty much every situation where BC got in trouble with plate patience and timely hits. Partain changed speeds all night. Gave up couple good hits but pitched out of several jams. Young Tigers are a scrappy bunch with a quiet but effective pitching staff. Quote
STiger85 Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 This was a great game to watch. Both pitchers matched each other strike out for strike out, nether gave any ground. BC went to Sug in the seventh with the bases loaded and no outs and his first pitch Sungren hit one through the infield and two crossed the plate. Partain was able to get the final outs and win the ball game. Congrats Tigers!!! Well played. Quote
Chester86 Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 Great job Chase, big win for the Tigers. As always, that is one tough dostrict, with no easy games. Quote

Chase with the 3 Hit complete game & was 2 for 3 with a run scored to help out his cause. E. Dunn in the 2 hole tonight set the table for the tigers all night. 2 for 3, 1B/2B, 2 runs scored. T. Sundgren was 1 for 2, BB/1B, 2 RBIs Quote

AggiesAreWe Posted March 25, 2015 Author Report Posted March 25, 2015 Very impressed with this Silsbee win over a very good, experienced Bridge City team. Young Tigers may be ahead of schedule like the young Tiger basketball team. Time will tell. Very good win. Quote
STiger85 Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 I have not seen one congratulations to the Silsbee Tigers from a BC fan. If you were at this game you new how close this game was and how great a game it was. But no comments from the BC fans on how good they played or how good there pitcher pitched, WOW!!! By the way, it was a great game. undiscovered 1 Quote

By the way, it was a great game. There could be a lot of comments on this game but in the end Silsbee swung the bat and capitalized on BC's mistakes. And The Silsbee pitcher did his job! He threw strikes. If he didn't throw first pitch strikes to every batter then he only missed a couple... So, Therefore congrats to the Silsbee Tigers on the Win. :P :D walldrill 1 Quote

643 Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 1 walk and no E's by BC so what mistakes did Silsbee captilize on, what I read Silsbee got a hit when needed...maybe I missed something Quote

Wild pitch scored the run and I believe he had 2 strikes on batter at the time. my memory is always in question but this is close. Critter 1 Quote
Silsbee92 Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 Base running and judging fly balls in the outfield. And yes Silsbee got a hit when needed. Base running on both sides for sure. Silsbee ran themselves out of the 6th for sure. Judging fly balls was dicey but I could excuse both teams due to wet conditions out there. As for the hit....Silsbee got the one they needed but, BC had there own chances as well. Not many for both teams but that is baseball. Great game by both teams but as usual someone has to win. Silsbee gets the first one this year but was 0-2 last year. Critter 1 Quote
