Through the first 4 games of district West Sabine has outscored opponents 69-1. Next week WS will get to play Colmesneil which will be the first test for the Tigers in district action. I can't wait, this is always a very competitive game and becoming a great friendly district rivalry.

Congratulations. I don't care who you have played, that is impressive. You have a great coach, and a very athletic team. Region 3 is always the toughest in the state, so best of luck. Should be a great game with Colmesneil. They have some full grown men on that team, and Coach Hooked has them playing well. Keep us updated.

Yeah, Hooker always has his young men primed for WS and all games for that matter.  He and Coach Lane are top notch baseball coaches!  You're right about region 3, it's loaded!

Yes, it is always a great game when Colmesneil hooks up with WS, especially last year at Minute Maid.

Region 3 is once again as usual stacked and loaded. Believe the last two state champions came from Region 3(Carlisle and Douglass), both of whom had to go through WS on their way to said title. The games were at Lufkin both years....
