I wish someone had a video of our boys and coaches when our two boys worked together for the interception. I know they went nuts on the sideline

I was ready to pounce, but they have not gave excuses......they have been complimentary....gotta respect that!

At the game it looked like Lumberton had only brought over the players parents, probably not even that. They have a scrappy team that plays hard so it is too bad they don't have more fans supporting them. One thing about Vidor is win or lose the fans show up to support.

Congrats to Seniors for sticking it out and never giving up. Coach Haynes is a exceptional coach with a great offensive mind. If he can get some talent put together they could be dangerous. Just as he has done everywhere he has been 5a to 2a . Great boys you deserve it !

Not all of them Bobby, I'm just an alumni with no one in the game and I don't miss many games. Season ticket holder for 20+ years.

And I know the players but not really close to any of them but I haven't missed a game. Believe it or not most the people I set around didn't have Anyone in the game or band

For some perspective, when Lumberton played Vidor last year, Vidor won 59-20 and rushed for over 500 yds.  This year, not only did the Raiders get the W, but the Raiders had more rushing yards than Vidor.  Congrats to the boys that have stuck together and fought in Lumberton.  There are some good underclassmen but it starts with great senior leadership.  Many of these seniors played their entire sophomore and junior seasons on varsity without winning a game.  It takes a tremendous amount of heart to do what they have done and help turn a program around.  We could all learn a lot from them.

Great high school football game. Great game plan and they stuck with it. Best complete game from the Raiders this year. Props to the defense. They've been steadily improving all year.

Have to make a correction... It was not our #3 that intercepted the ball at the end of the game. #3 is the one that tipped the ball and Rhodes is the one that dived and intercepted it.
