YMBL Tournament at Central HS

Seeing as how the local sports media forgot about all of us at Central HS.

 

The 2A and 3A Division of the YMBL Tournament also concluded today. Unfortunately we have no VYPE of any of the action or any mention on the local scene.

 

Evadale won the championship over Buna (25-15)(25-19)

 

Karly Beard was named Tournament MVP from Evadale

also named to Tournament first team were team members Haleigh Oldbury,Hannah Conner and Karly Beard.

Coach Debbie Hollyfield was also named Outstanding Coach of the Tournament.

Evadale is now (14-4)

 

Deweyville def. Kountze for third place and Anahuac def. Colmesneil for the Consolation Championship.

 

Thank You YMBL for another great tournament. We really enjoyed the weekend

 

Congratulations to all and had I known we would not receive any coverage I would have written down all first tournament team names. So help me out and recognize those players.

Anyone who attended please add the names of other first team all tournament players.

 

Local Sports Stations you are better than this. I know you covered at Ozen, its not that far of a ride to get some highlites at Central.
