Final 32 - 8 Ned it should have been 44 - 8 but someone gave lumbertons side line a whisle and somehow kept getting the plays blown dead! Wasn't even close fellows sorry I wanted more from Lumberton!

I agree whisperer, that lead ref was old and blind.  He was calling plays dead while the runner was still on his feet making his way to the end zone.  I was flabbergasted by his calls. Un-freakin-believable!  Plus that fumble return by Nederland should have never been called back.  Nederland Black absolutely dominated Lumberton White.

Mojo I forgot abt that one In 3rd #10 stayed on his feet twice for 2 scores called back and the fumble. It could have easily been 50 to 8 I new black would win but not like they did! Impressed! Both Ned team are unbelievable no doubt!

Whisperer, yes he is, had 1 nice run for TD, otherwise Bears defense kept him in check.

Yates had more than 1 good run for a TD.. He had a heck of a game both sides. That was a good game. Score does not indicate it but it was. LCM has another good Jr team! QB has a nice arm also

Ned B looked really strong nice game plan and execution by kids/coaches. Lumberton looked sluggish, predictable and defense looked lost at times.  These kids have to be coached and told what to do no matter how good we think they are.  Good first week

Yates is a good back. Saw it myself. He just lacks some supporting crew. Not enough quality blocking. I think Kountze just has a small program. Gotta put the kids on the field that you were given.

well it is early and I am going on what people say and don't say. the new warrior team will have talent but not sure how organized they will be . Lumberton white (cupcake crew as they are being called) is the team to beat! they have a coach that has proved himself over the years. it will be a close race between Beaumont blue and Nederland black this year. Ned is young but full of talent. Ned white will be in the mix. Lumberton red has one of the best running backs in the league, at least parents on that team are claiming that. I hope the two Lumberton teams face off this year, that will make for a good game with much flappin to be had.
there may be a little shake up in the small school division this year. will post more once hear from my scouts.
