Nederland Black walked all over Lumberton White 33 to 0. I expect them to do the same thing tomorrow to Lumberton Red.

Lumberton will not put a single point on the board.  They are only there on a technicality.  Ned W will absolutely destroy Lum W.

I hate to say it, but some of those Lumberton players showed some really poor sportsmanship tonite.

I have to say #12 was the star of the game.  That boy can catch the ball and run.  He was on fire today!

I agree whisperer, that lead ref was old and blind.  He was calling plays dead while the runner was still on his feet making his way to the end zone.  I was flabbergasted by his calls. Un-freakin-believable!  Plus that fumble return by Nederland should have never been called back.  Nederland Black absolutely dominated Lumberton White.

Nederland Black squashed the cupcake crew. 

Ned B coaches are a good group of guys. I know that winning is their goal, as is every coach, but I doubt they go around saying that.  Seems out of character for those guys. My boy plays for NB and this is our 3rd year with this group of coaches. Win or lose, the kids learn a lot from the NB coaches. Coach DeSerrano is a class act and a great role model for the boys, as are the assistant coaches. You can tell they really care about the boys. Should be a great game this Saturday between NB and LW, as well as a great season for all the teams.   

That Nederland Black defense was not giving PNG any yardage during that scrimmage. NB offense was very aggressive as well. Great group of kids this year and some very passionate coaches.  They should go far this year.
