Kountze Vs Hardin 1st district game Tuesday 3/4

Hardin comes to Kountze...how does this one roll: who goes 1-0 and who goes 0-1 in district play?

Unless Kountze just lays an egg, they should be 1-0 after Tuesday. Supposed to be very cold and a lot of drizzly rain.

Hardin has a couple hitters, but need a number 1 pitcher.

Will be interesting to see how Kountze responds after the long weekend in Yoakum.  I know the players were tired during the second game Saturday vs Needville but with today and tomorrow to rest I think they will be ready for Hardin on Tuesday.

Kountze should win easy

Kountze should easily walk away with a win. They looked good this weekend at the Yoakum tournament. Batting looked good against Hallettsville, but not so much Saturday. Hopefully, we'll see those bats get hot again.

Kountze should win thus game without to much trouble. I think anyone of our starting pitchers in rotation will handle Hardin. As far as the Lions and run production...they will produce and often. It will be cold and wet so caution will need to be taken when it comes to ball handling to keep errors under control on both sides.

Boy was that wind blowing! If you lifted the ball at all it was gonna hang. I mean both Friday and Saturday I saw some balls hit that left the bat with intentions and got their afterburners blow out.
