GCCISD hires new AD

Bernard Mulvaney hired as new AD for GCCISD.  Was head coach at Aldine Macarthur since 2009.  Anyone know anything about him?  All I see is his record as shown on maxpreps is 10-32 overall record and 4-22 district record.

I assume by the hire that record as head coach does not have much weight in the hiring decision.  Maybe he had previous success elsewhere?

I sure hope there is more to him or his ability/vision for Baytown sports than what Max preps show of his record over the last 4 years.

Never heard of him. I didnt even know the Generals still played football.

Back in the early 90's them Generals were tough! Since then, I thought they dropped football ;D

A Win-Loss record should have no weight as to whether he will be a good AD or not.  It's all about how he handles the head coaches at each campus, the assistant coaches as well as managing the budget for the district athletic department.  As far as football, regardless what he has done in the past, he won't have a say in what offense or defense is run at the GCCISD schools.
