It's been awhile since I made a post so here we go good luck to all SETX Teams in the playoffs. Also Silsbee 38 Carthage 31.
-
It may be a little early to discuss, but this should be one of the best week one games in the state to see.
-
-
Silsbee's offensive and defensive lineman will be ready to go by the first kickoff.
-
The Tigers may start the season a little slow, but expect them to make a December playoff run.
-
This would be a perfect fit for coach Joubert to me no disrespect to any other coaches

Back to the topic coach Smith's system will be put in place no matter who stays or goes that is how the life of high school coaching works these days. Everyone will no soon enough who is staying and who is moving on.

That is the question all of these politicians need to be asking, but they choose to support things that garner more political support. To be fair both Texas Senators supported the cheerleading case and have never demanded justice for the Kountze Church Burning.
-
I do not post a lot on this site about politics. Ted Cruz clams to be a person to stand for Civil, and Christian liberties. So I ask the question how can he be so supportive of the Kountze Cheerleading case, and never support, or for that matter never mention nor demand any justice for the Kountze Church Burning? And to stay on the subject what politician Local, State, or Federal has demanded justice for the burning of the church?

It seems that coach Smith is not wasting any time implementing his direction for the future of Tiger football. I will not make any predictions for next season, but will say that you will see a major difference in the style of play. Again if there is total buy in by the players and community it will be an exciting season for sure.

Silsbee has had the decision to go all out for creating a dominate football program, and only time will tell.

Here we go again.
This hire was obviously made to build a strong football program and that is what we will see happen. And the change that was made is no disrespect to any of the coaches that are on the staff it was a business decision made by the elected officials.

The Tigers will be mentally and physically tougher next year.

Most HC coaches will bring other coaches with them
Change can be a good thing.
Kids and community need to support Coach Smith and the other coaches.
I could not agree more with Pepper Brooks. Coaching changes happen at every level of play, however the buy in by all parties involved will determine how much success the young men, and women will see. Silsbee has tons of talent and has had lots of success under the past coaching staff. With that being said some of the kids that are only playing one sport could have many more opportunities by playing multiple sports.

The players need to buy into the new system that coach Smith and his staff put in place asap. It will also be helpful for the parents and community members to also support these changes that coach Smith will be implementing. Change can be tough at times but if you give it a chance good things can come from it.

Great season Tigers keep your heads up high. After watching the championship game and looking to next year I truly believe Silsbee's greatest chance of winning a state championship will be on the football field.
-
How many D-1 players has Silsbee had in the past 20 years or so just wondering?
-
I think the success the Tigers had on the football field this year will help them bring home a state championship Saturday. Good Luck Tigers

Yes it does, and now everyone should recognize how close coach Smith was to having his team prepared for a state run this year. I would not overlook the Tigers next year they will definitely be in the conversation.
