I love Dayton in 22-4a I think they just add to the level of competition and excitement we already have. ;D On the other hand Nederland goes to the playoffs this year if Dayton isn't here. :-\

Congrats to Lumberton on a great season. Yall were better and went further than anyone anticipated. YALL DID A GREAT JOB and should be very proud of yourselves. Having said that I hope we(Nederland) tear yall up next year.

the simple answer is NO. Lumberton can not beat dayton. I would love to watch. I think Lumberton could maybe pull the upset.

It is really sad to me that people are being so negative.... Why not just congradulate him and keep you personal NEGATIVE comments to yourselves. Whats to say he does not read this board. I guess the recruiters at UT don't know more than all you couch potato ex high school footballers. These people are paid to scout and recruit. I think they know what they are doing. and it sort of P***** me off that yall are being so opinionated when you really know so little. Our friends over on the htxsports site don't give us much of a chance against the houston schools. I think we all need to to go on their forum and let them now what we think.

I wish png was playing the scary coogs... i think png is a very different team now than they were in weeks 1and 2... as,for as dayton goes, Dayton has a different level of talent than the coogs... Daytons wins big... But... anything can happen on any given Friday night, especially in a rivalry game.

Lumberton has a very balanced attack. Hussey is really good!!! Not to mention #17, your other running backs, your qb, and that swarming D. LUMBERTON by 21. I would love to see lumberton knock out Lamarque... they need to see that 224a is for real... even if my dogs aren't in the playoffs :'( :'( :'(

I believe the top four teams in our district could take out any 21-4a team...( i know png lost to crosby early but a lot has changed since then) Do dayton and crosby have a rivalry? Dayton by 30 Dayton is a lot better than their record lets on, I think that really works to their advantage.

so if lumberton wins... they get to play lamarque? maybe this is the year we finally send lamarque home early... that would be awesome.

hats off to lumberton... The better team definately won tonight. Our kids gave it there best and thats all you can ask. I am very dissapointed in Nederland. I don't know where everything went so wrong. I don't know who is to blame. All I know is that I don't want to have to go through this again next year. The only negative thing I have to say about Lumberton is there announcers lack of class. I thought this was about honor and sportsmanship all he showed was unproffesionalism and incredible biase. I have never experienced anything so ridiculous in a high school sporting event. I also thought the fire trucks and horn were a bit much.... BUT enjoy your run this year because NEXT YEAR... it will back to your usual position at the bottom of the district standings. Seriously, congrats to Lumberton and all your fans yall did a great job tonight and I hope yall have a deep run in the playoffs.
