I agre with you titan... As long as nederland does not face tough opposition they play great. However last night they showed for the second time when adversity comes, they just roll over. Its like they just lose heart and quit. You could see it in the way the defense played last night. HEART HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE KEY TO NEDERLAND WINNING. WE HAVE PLAYED MANY TEAMS OVER THE YEARS THAT WERE MORE TALENTED, BUT WE WON WITH A NEVER SAY DIE ATTITUDE AND GRIT. C'MON DOGS DON'T LOSE WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT... just left the game at the half... Dayton looks good.... Hats of to them. I hope we can pull off a miracle half and win this one but I don't think so. Daytons defense is amazing. There offense looked like clockwork. I don't think I saw one kid on daytons offense go down with first contact. Haven't seen a butt kicking like this one in a while at bulldog stadium

Cherokee is the best fight song. It makes my stomach sick every time I hear it... But it is contagious like the Flu. Nederlands fight song just does not get me going at all.

It seems to me the only way Lumberton misses the playoffs is if they lose there last two. is that right? If they win one they are in. Is that right?

I really feel for the kids who never get to play... I was one of them for a couple of years and remember how bad it made me feel. I agree that the best players should play. Thats how you win ball games. I think everyone on the team plays a part whether it is running the scout team, being the water boys, or being the star qb... The important thing is to make everyone feel significant regardless of what part they play. I

no doubt lumberton has the best team they've ever had...I do think that the poor level of competition that Lumberton has played this year has greatly contributed to there swollen numbers. We will see what Lumberton,Nederland and Dayton are made of over the next two weeks. I can't wait to see how it all pans out.

just got home from the game... WOW... it was a good one... I was not really impressed with Lumbertons defense... Lumberton does have a very balanced offense. What I was most impressed with was the fan support from Lumberton... Yall did a great job. Yall kept your team in this game. This is the best Lumberton team I have ever seen. Should be an interesting game when Big Ned plays Lumberton... Nederland will DEFINITELY have to bring there A game to beat yall. Congrats to PNG yall did a great job all the way around. This is the best I have seen yall play since last week.

Lumberton will not go undefeated... They will lose... Probably 2 games... Yip you guessed it to Big Ned and our neighbors PNG If Lumberton makes the playoffs I would be Happy and support them.
