Jake, You are exactly 100% right. PNG is not that good and if they would have played WOS this year they would have gotten smoked as well. As Lumberton proved last year You should never underestimate the underdog. Vidor seems to have a pretty good team this year. I would love to see Vidor make the playoffs. They remind me of Lumberton last year. GO PIRATES!!! That is untill you play Nederland ;D ;D ;D

I learned westend 1 is another nederland hater and that Nederland is going to surprise some people this year.

I don't know where all you guys are getting that ozen is a good football team. I expect the same as every other year. Lots of talent... very little discipline and execution. Ozen is more talented than Nederland in most years. Unless Ozen has changed something major, Nederland will win this game. Nederland 35 ozen 21

Nederland has played one game this year. You can't judge what Nederland is capable of by one game. Cmon. Nederland is always "slow" compared to some schools. Discipline, execution, and heart is why Nederland wins games. Just watch and learn... Nederland will come out on top... Just like they have the past couple of years. I haven't seen Ozen play this year, but unless they have improved dramatically over last years team, I don't even think they are a real threat. Ozen will finish in the bottom three or four in this district and will NOT make the playoffs. POINT BLANK...

Didn't WOS beat Nederland's a$$? Other than the blown coverage play what did Asa do? I like the kid and think he's a very good WR, but you are making it seem like he is Randy Moss or something. I think he will have a good game against Ozen, but I think James White will have a better game against Nederland. Ozen 28 Nederland 17 /i was at that game WOS ran cover two the whole game and its no secret that asa is very slow..........i take nothing away from he's a great reciever but no deep threat.....he's a different kid if you get up on him and jam him he does not like to be touched at all.........nederland wont beat ozen for two reasons.........DB's are terrible and very slow and grogan is playing offense Asa is a very good receiver. Better than most in the area. He was all-state for a reason. Ozen will NOT beat Nederand for two reasons.. Ozen is talented but I am sure as always undisciplined.... And Cardnas and Bellows are going to eat yall for lunch. I predict Bellows has about 250-300yds passing and 3 or 4 td throws. 8) 8) 8)

May God grant them the strength to make it through this difficult time. I have been through the same thing and KNOW it is hard... nearly impossible to deal with but with GOD all things are possible.

Having watched WOS play... I think that WOS is at a different level. I don't think any team in the area other than WB could hang with WOS. This year they have a state championship caliber team.

I really hope that k-ville pulls this one off. I would love to see the mustangs go home with their heads hung low. Unfortunately I think the Mustangs win by about 21.

I think this loss could do a lot of good for Dayton. No more pressure to be live up to state rankings. I think it is a good lesson in humility. Other teams will also start to underestimate yall. I have a feeling that this is going to light a fire under those boys butts. I think they are going to do a lot of damage come playoff time.

I guess what kinda upset me was when I saw the Players trying to get the fans in the game several times and there was no response. I remember when things were a LOT noisier... maybe winning has something to do with it. wasn't a whole lot to cheer about I guess

After going to our game against wos a thought came to my mind... WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE NEDERLAND BULLDOG FANS? I remember back a few years ago when teams coming to play us knew they were going to have to deal with about 1000 or more crazed fans. We were Barking, rattling whatever we could get our hands on, cheering, screaming, doing whatever it took to let our boys know we were with them and that we believed in them. We have to remember that our kids are either encouraged by our support in the stands or discouraged by the lack of it. I just think it is time for the DOGPOUND to be the DOGPOUND again. What do yall think?

Remember Vidor played them to a 14 - 14 Tie last week! Get over it... it was a scrimmage. WOS would destroy vidor in the real world. I can't wait for district. By no means do I believe Nederland will dominate. But we will beat vidor solidly

Just left the game... The score does not EVEN BEGIN to describe the beatdown we were taking when I left... WOS is totally dominating the game. They look very sharp. I am very frustrated by the spread. We have a big rb who barely touches the ball. Our D really held its own. The big play is what is killing us. Our offense was horrible. If not for one blown coverage by wos we would not even be on the scoreboard. Oh well, maybe wos is just THAT GOOD.

I am glad this one was not posted for Nederland... I think I would hide my head in the sand if I were from the L-trolley
