Still no love for our defense, huh? I guess Nederland will be the first unstoppable offense we've played this year... Alright, I agree with your Nederland assessment. I'll keep that the same. For Nederland to win: 1. Control time of possession 2. Run Grogan and run him often, itll open up the passing game (Big Ned needs more play action!) 3. Defense must make at least a few plays, most notably on 3rd down 4. Nederland's offense must also be Nederland's Defense Now for the changes (just a couple): For Vidor to win: 1. Keep the ball away from Nederland (good) 2. Avoid dumb penalities and turnovers (good) 3. Play hard-hitting defense the same way we have been all year getting behind the line and sacking the QB to shut down the passing game 4. Hit Grogan in the legs at the line of scrimmage I wish I could be at this game. Its should be a good one. I agree with your thoughts.

I bet people in Dayton are thanking the good Lord for this. nah... To be "the man"... you have to beat "the man". I like knowing that we got beat by the best if we had to go down. IMO, Div. I last year was a much easier road all the way through the Championship because of the lack of really good passing teams i.e. highland park and LT. Dayton fares better against run oriented teams as most do. Call me crazy, but I think we would have had a shot at the D1 title. everyone has a shot... but what are the odds? I would love for Nederland to play them in round 1 and get some revenge for the 63-0 beatdown last year... other than Nederland beating yall, I hope yall do win it all.

I think Dayton will easily beat anyone from 20-4a. I am not sure they will make it out of region III. Going to state does not happen every year. However Dayton does have a team they can be proud of.

can vidor outscore Nederland? One thing for sure... Nederland has a hard time stopping anyone... so vidor will probably score 35. Nederland 42

oh well.... I give up... we have no defense and I should not hold on to the expectation that we can stop a team that has a decent running game. Congrats to Livingston. It was almost identical to last week. We could not contain the qb on 3rd and long... we couldn't stop the run.... I'm depressed!!!! It would be sad if we couldn't make the top four... :'( :'( :'( :'(
