I caught them at the 2nd set of pipes near the end of the north revetment road. I have also heard they are catching all the way at the end of the road wading out at the sailboat cut. supposed to be catching them on tequila sunrise eels or berkley gulp white jerk shad

caught some nice flounder and speck on the first set of pipes on the wall on soft plastics and mud minnows. Getting to be that fun time of the year. anyone else having any luck on the rocks?

If Neumann were to go, I don't think we should hire from within. We need a head coach a AD and with experience. I believe there would be no shortage of well qualified applicants if Nederland were to put the job out there.

Then I say let him go. I hate to see it happen. But I hate it even worse to see a coach whos heart is really somewhere else coaching our kids. I think there are probably several very good coaches willing to come to Nederland. If he is going to go I would rather it be now so that we can get our coach in and get our kids ready for next season.

It really frustrates me that Neumann would do this. What does he want out of the bond that he is not getting? I am a huge Neumann fan and I think he has done an incredible job with our program. I would be for doing what it takes to keep him around. My only concern is the cost of this bond issue... anyone know how much of a tax increase we are talking about?

I heard the same thing about Roy a couple of weeks ago. I heard it from a friend of Roys family. Sounded like it was going to happen to me. Why didn't he play more? He seemed to be a pretty good rb.

Congrats to Cody and Dravannti on this great accomplishment. Pretty sad that dravannti can make all state and not all district. I don't understand how that could even happen... I dunno 77 tackles sounds pretty good to me... How does that number of tackles compare to the all district DE's of 22-4a

Dear Rkhufu7, I have seen you on a couple of other boards questioning the Dayton defense. First of all I am not a Dayton fan unless we (nederland bulldogs) are out of contention.The answer is YES they are that good. I stood and watched them in amazement as they blanked a pretty good Nederland team 63-0. I don't know how they do it. They are fast, hit hard, and seem to always be at the right place at the right time. I hope you are at the game. I am not saying that Dayton will blowout Lake Travis. I am saying you will definitely see a a very good football team. Oh yeah... they have a pretty good offense too.

what happened to Nederland? When I played for Nederland in the early 90s we were a dynasty seemingly untouchable for a decade or more. It makes me kinda sad to see that Big Ned is not on top anymore
