I looked back as far as I could. Barbers Hill 3 Nederland 2 since 2003. Pretty close.

Barbers Hill fans are sometimes arrogant until mid season when they get humbled by these lowly Mid-County teams. I think Crosby is the team to beat. Nederland, BH, PNG, TC are all just about equal. Its a toss up.

The very fact that he is there speaks volumes of his talent. Even if he is never a starter its still quite an accomplishment. Not many high school players end up 3rd string in an SEC school.

I lived in Sheldon for may years!! Well before the city moving that way made the school explode! Good memories.

you could not be more wrong. In hindsight, I probably would not have said what I said if I understood the context. I thought he was throwing something theoretical. Seeing that it actually happened makes a huge difference.

I tend to agree. Last year they weren't far from being in the hunt. If they returned players they definitely have a shot. The only team I think is above the rest is Crosby. That could even prove to be a stretch.

This one is a toss up. I'm not really sure how good either of these teams are. Some glimpses of very good play. At other time they look totally lost. I'm going with Nederland by 14 simply based on Beck and Fuselier talent.

After watching Silsbee last night I'm really impressed with Vidors win over them. Vidor must have a pretty good team!!

Silsbee. They looked like a REAL team for 3 and 7/8 quarters. Silsbee dominated. I think if they keep playing like this they will win district and make a good run in the playoffs.
