First i want to tip my hat to the OF coaching staff they did an amazing job this year, congrats to all the players but more importantly Pete Ragusa you had a spectacular season and career , keep your head up ,the next chapter of your life is coming ,we’ll see you in college !!!!!

With the Indians being in Crosby tonight I got to take this one in as I have family in Buna. There were 3 tough calls down the stretch with 2 of them going the cougars way. I'm not sure the Cougars led very much in this one, Connell hit a huge shot to tie the game but the play that happened afterward was absolutely a foul. The cougars are solid, and have nothing to hang their heads about. 
 

The Connell Legacy as a player ends this year. It has been a great run for those boys. They each played 4 years of Varsity basketball for Buna.

There is better reception in a war shelter in Bucharest than the Buna gym.  

Kountze has the best guard in that district… and it’s not even close! Hell he’s one of the top guards I’ve seen in the area and I heard he’s only a sophomore 

Just saw the video and you're exactly right. 

Nothing special about the cut. #24 ran from the wing to the block and his defender was watching the ball and had no clue where his man was. Heads up play by the PG to see him through some traffic, but not good defense by the cougars in that situation.

Once again you’re missing the point…. The varsity level officials don’t just start as varsity level officials. Just think about it for a minute. They work their way up  good officials don’t become good from the start.  That is the point 

Must be before my time. I've heard a lot of things sitting in the stands over the years. One thing I've never heard or witnessed is anyone being satisfied with the officiating.
It would be nice if the ref the farthest away wasn't usually the one making the bad calls.

If Orangefield could get into Evadale’s district, I believe they wound try. They sure do know how to make realignment work for them. 

Only problem is if you are going to have all the playoff games be best of three, then the state semifinal and finals should be that way. But that's not going to be the case.

It's the ref's fault that Buna was holding or whatever the penalty was? I guess they can't call penalties on Buna across the 50. I hate to tell you, but it's not the ref's fault!!!! Buna has a pretty good team and EC could not stop offense, but they beat themselves.

WOS is talented but you can’t replace over 60 yrs of coaching by Hooks and Thompson. That team with 8 starters on both sides coming back would be undefeated 

Flags were flying because the kids were hitting out of bounds, and doing a lot after the plays. EC had quite a bit too. The blindside flag was crazy glad they didn’t call that when I played lol 🤣🤣

Fastest player for EC are the refs!!! We get across the 50 and the flags started flying!!!
