I've had fun messing with the PNG folks this week.  Tried my hand at trash talk and probably failed miserably.  But there are so many things in life more important than high school football.  I've stuck on this board so long because it is a very good disreaction for me on bad days.
Win or lose...i just hope for a safe game.

Then please I pray that you are able to provide aid and comfort to my aunt from Louisiana who is there today to begin treatment for her cancer.

Every time PAM is in a forum , enrollment numbers , transfers , poverty, gangs and drugs , "section 8 housin" seems to always get thrown to the forefront lol , very little about X's , O's

I see what you're saying, but learning, representing the community with sports is always best done with your people.  And before anyone takes this the wrong way, I'm talking about the people that you've grown up with from a small kid.  Your people...

PAM has come into 22-5A and turned things upside down.  That's not a bad thing. Better competition.

That generally results in a good old woodshed whopping, nobody is disrespecting anyone. When you have been at the top and did a lot of crowing, don't expect any sympathy when you fall down.

Sir I'm not sure who your post was directed towards but I will respond. (in underlined bold) Nederland has been the "best" in this district for 5 years. I teach my 7y/o that if he wants to be the best, he has to BEAT the best. 

...but memorial made the cuttoff...  They're 5a now.  When the playoffs start, they'll eventually face a team of equal numbers.  But that's no excuse.  They're 5a, you're 5a.  Line up and see what it do.  Look in that bother district.  Splendora barely made cutoff to 5a and are competing quite well.  In west Brook's district, Lufkin. Is th e smallest 6a school and only has 1 district loss and the one loss was a gianormous 6a school who gave them everything they wanted.  And if I'm not mistaken, Katy is on the smaller side in their district and you see how they do it... 

More numbers don't necessarily mean you should dominate...

Actually, I think they deserved the right to talk.  They're 5a now, play them, beat them.  If you lose to them, you can talk smack.  You can shut them up by beating them.  Nederland has been doing it for 5 years...  Obviously, there's new sheriffs in town.  Change is so painful but sometimes necessary...

No sir, based on the style and your teams physical attributes is why people are saying these things. Your offense is ball control and eats clock....it forces you of HAVING to score each possession. I explained it once. 2,3,4 stops and PAM scores on those stops, your clock eating monster will do you in...we want you to pass.KJ will be waiting. Vidor players are smaller, weaker, and slower than PAM. You guys had your hands full with the same nederland team who we just beat the brakes off of...you do the math...see u in November pumpkin spice.

I think Memorial by as many points as they want. 

Don't let this bother you, some people just can't help themselves. Some of the things I read on here drive me insane. I often want to ask if these guys realize they are making fun of a bunch of 15-18 year old boys who walk out on that field and play their hearts out on Friday night. 

No, I for one understand and I believe you raise a valid point.  There is a difference between showing pride in your community and engaging in good natured ribbing and just being plain mean.  And I will tell what I mean, in this week leading up to this weekends game we have had, among other things, Vidorians subjected to talk about "white sheets," Port Arthur folks subjected to talk that they live in a ghetto and one board member who had his child rearing skills questioned.  And there is probably more that I just didn't happen to see.
When it gets to that point, it is just plain senseless, and more and more threads are getting to that point.
It's sad.

Neither should be.  PAM is the most talented team in the triangle.   Not the best team, but certainly the most talented.  That field is littered with D1 type talent when they take the field. 

All the more bulletin board material. Motivation is easy when it is provided.

Can't wait for Friday. Going to be a great game at the Rez. 

I think the Indians will scalp em. I think this will be vidors first test against a full out 1st string loaded team. PNG better figure out that run game though, or it'll drive them all night, oh and watch those surprise passes, they happening more often

Wow. You're getting lucky stat. I've seen people get kicked for less than this. But I'll say this, people from png usually have class. I guess you are the exception.

Guessing you are under 20.  IQ might be lower though.

PNG has a new Supt. That deals with enrollment. Heard he has cracked down on people falsely enrolled in the district. As a tax payer I am happy for this. You want to live here, be a tax payer!!!
