I hope we get some Sterling guys. We need them. Sterling, across the board, has better athletes than Lee on their football team right now. It's really not even close after the injuries that Lee has sustained, yet Lee would whoop them again if they played again. Lee got the worst end of the transfer deal this past off-season. Lee got Anthony Gray and a kid named Montgomery from Sterling, but we had 3 or 4 kids transfer to Sterling that are starting over there.

Ok... Do I have to pick WB in every game from here on out simply because WB beat Lee? lol Cmon man... Think about it before you post. I'm just making my prediction on the game.

PAM 37 WB 36 Mark it down

I think PAM has a chance against West Brook. That offense is pretty tough to get a handle on. They have some good size at receiver, then some other guys that are quick. PAM is one of those teams that has all the talent in the world to win games. They just seem to screw it up eventually somehow or another. They run fake field goals that have no chance of working, they punt the ball from the 27, they fumble balls up 9 with 7 minutes in the game and have it taken back for a touchdown, etc. It's not the talent and speed and size that doesn't allow them to win. It's the execution. So, on the off chance they execute well against WB, then they have a fighting chance to beat the Bruins in my opinion.

Scooter Don't give up on them yet. PAM has some good talent. They have the offense to give teams trouble. Had they continued running their offense throughout the game, they would have put up 40 points. They got away from what was working after the first quarter.

At one point while PAM was trying to come back late in the 4th quarter, Lee had sacked Brown a few times. PAM brought in the backup on 3rd and about 25. Patitan kept saying that they were going to run now, I thought no way. But sure enough, they called a qb sweep on 3rd and 25. Only the punt from the 27 yard line rivaled that play in its stupidity.

I think Humble is kinda shady this year. They don't have much of an offense from what I can gather. Kingwood was not any good at all from what I could see.

Lee probably should not have won this game. PAM was tearing right through them in the first half. Lee started stopping them late in the first half and in the second half stopped them a little better. PAM scored the first 14, and they had the opportunity for a couple more scores. They punted on 4th down from Lee's 27 lol. Never seen anything like it. The put went into the endzone for a 7 yard net. Later in the first half, on 4th and 12 or so from the 15, they ran a fake field goal toss to the kicker that was swallowed up. Even after all that, PAM was up 23-14 and driving in the 4th quarter. They converted a first down on about a 20 yard pass to king down to about the 30, he fumbled, Thomas Bates picked it up for Lee and ran it back about 75 yards for a td. It's all part of the game, but I'd be thinking we should have won if I was a Titan fan.

Well folks, I'm about to head out to the game after I get my shower. I'm supposed to meet patitan tonight, so everyone pray for me to give me strength...and if you don't see me back on here, alert the authorities. jk ;D

Antyhing can happen on any given Friday... But last year Kingwood was good. They gave Lee a game last year. This year Kingwood stinks and Lee was whomping them 31-0 at the half.

They're going to be looking for a while.

35-13 That mediocre team was good enough to beat PAM that year lol If PAM was destined to do anything, they should have been able to take it upon themselves to beat Lee and not have to depend on Kingwood Lee has a high risk, high reward type of defense. I could see Lee stopping PAM for less than 2 yards on about 65% of the plays. I could also see PAM busting a couple of long plays for td's too.

Just play them all game, it will feel like rest going up against Sterling.

They are pretty bad.

These guys have a fantastic team this year. I don't know where they pluck all these athletic 6'5" guys from, but they have a load of them. I don't want it to sound like I'm selling the Bruins short when I sometimes think out loud about missed opportunities for my Ganders. The Bruins have a great team and should do the district proud in the playoffs this year.

Hey I never put it as one word. And yeah I will be at the game next week on the visitor's side. I wouldn't mind sitting with you as long as you aren't QUITE the antagonist in person as you are on here.

WB 50 Sterling 6

patitan, keep up I'm just giving my rebuttal to the guy that said Lee was overmatched. Lee was not overmatched in any shape or form. WB wins 4 of 5 against Lee, I would agree with that. Again, I'm not saying that Lee shoulda, coulda, woulda won.... It was a fairly even matchup though, and I feel comfortable with the way Lee played.

The reason they had so many false starts is because they tried to go with a lot of long counts and ended up messing themselves up in the process. Read the article in the Baytown sun and Olin admits that it messed Lee up more than it hurt WB. Lee stopped WB for the most part after WB got the quick 14 with 6 minutes to go in the first quarter. After that, it was a kickoff return, a 50 yard screen on 3rd and long and a 4th down td pass on 4th and long. There were no sustained drives after the 6 minute point of the first quarter for West Brook until the very last drive of the game basically when they converted the 4th and long deep in the 4th quarter. The second and third quarters were a whitewash for West Brook's offense other than the 50 yard screen on 3rd and 12(not saying that this play doesn't count, because it certainly does). All of the scores count. Drives do not have to be sustained obviously, but West Brook was not able to consistently get first downs from midway through the first quarter until midway of the 4th quarter. Lee had two chances inside WB's 10 that turned into fg's. Lee had a Josh Jones catch of about 30 yards that was incorrectly ruled out of bounds that would have set up Lee very deep inside WB's territory on a drive where we ended up having to punt. Look, I'm not saying that Lee should have won. WB was the better team last night. I'm just saying that WB did not in any such form run Lee off the field. It was a close game that Lee COULD have won had they tightened up their performance a little bit. Not that Lee SHOULD have won, but it was there for the taking if they make a few plays here and there.

What happened over there soulja? I kept getting the score on the loud speaker, and I couldn't believe it.

I went ahead and sat on the Lee side. I was late in arriving. I got off work at 6:05 and had to drive from Houston to BMT. When I got there it was 7-7 already. I appreciate the offer to save me a seat, but I get too upset when Lee starts losing to be sitting RIGHT next to some WB fans lol

OK, i'm home now to make a more detailed post. Michael is a man amongst boys out there. He has the ability to twist and turn and drive his legs to get a lot more yards than your average back could get. He's really slippery. He also reversed field on one particular play that left the Ganders looking crazy. That screen pass that he took to the house from 50 yards was a critical play. I think Lee had the momentum at that point. WB wasn't able to do much in the second quarter, and Lee had made a good stand at the beginning of the third there. I was expecting a punt and then the possibility of a drive to tie the game. That screen pass was a killer. Thomas Bates from Lee laid a couple of bone-crunching hits. Josh Jones for Lee delivered a couple of blows from his receiver position after he caught the ball. #9 for West Brook(amongst others) laid the wood a few times too. I was impressed with WB's defensive line. They applied a lot of pressure. WB did actually throw an int. It was the next to last play of the first half. Lee must have false started at least 6 times. I think there were a couple more that could have been called too, but the refs gave the Ganders a break. Overall, a well played game. As was said a few posts before mine, there will be a lot of sore bodies tomorrow. Both teams left it all out on the field. WB was just too good for the Ganders tonight.

weak district? lol ur acting like lee didnt give them a game. the game was decided by 2 plays. with wb up 21 to 13 a 60 yd screen to cm on 3rd and 12. then with wb up 31 to 21 a 30 yd td pass on 4th down. wb is good but lee isnt too faq behind

Lee could have put the hammer down on Sterling had they wanted. Add to that, it was in a monsoon. BMT, Lee was missing a LOT of players in that first game. We had Jarvis, but we were missing quite a few players. That teams is not the same team that Lee has been putting on the field the last 2 weeks. It remains to be seen how bad it will hurt to lose Jarvis. I imagine it will hurt pretty badly on offense, but Lee has a stout defense this year.
