1. Yes, UFC is very deep in the LHW division but neither fighter looked like contenders. I do respect Coutures game though. He used his experiance and skill to control the ring and keep from being dominated by a much younger fighter which earned him the win.
2. He did control the fight but it was not an impressive main event. The Strikeforce card was much better (I know I'm stirring it up with this statement)
3. I'm OK with the decision but dang that was a boring fight.
4. Swick didn't look very good and I don't see Hardy having a chance against GSP
5. Two losses and a first round playoff exit is not an off year but it does fall way short of the preseason expectations of many fans and opponents. Many expect the same or better results of years past despite all the challenges they have faced; Many school board battles, the loss of the OC, a brand new OC (he's improving and will continue to improve, it just takes time), no hiring replacements, declining enrollment, player controversy with suspension, not to mention all the criticism and negativity that went along with their first district loss. And let's give credit where credit is due. The area 3A districts are much improved and the competition is better than it's ever been. The Mustangs will be back
6.
Whichever one I haven't lost yet                     ;)
Then that's probably the cheapest one. The expensive tend to get lost easiest.
7. At this point it's Brock that's not fighting the best in the world, not the other way around. And Venom is probably right about it not being all about money with Fedor but is about control or not wanting to be controlled by Dana. As I've said before the UFC is the best and Dana is the king of MMA but not everyone is willing to play by his rules.
8.
Why would those fighters leave there fighting in the nfl of mma. I read that but that's a bunch of Bs fedor managers just running there mouth. This is about the fans.we as fans want to see fedor in ufc.
Then convince Dana to bend.
9. I agree that I would like him to fight the best. The problem is, if he ever goes to the UFC it would have to be on Danna's terms. They tried to make it work this last time but they couldn't come to terms. Strikeforce stepped up to the deal. I'm not saying it's Danna's fault, I'm just saying you can't expect Fedor to take less money or settle fro lesser deal to prove he's the best.
10. The main reason Jordan, Labron and all the foriegn baseball players are in th e NBA and MLB is the money. If cuba, Japan, China and others payed like America they would not be here. The NBA proved in th 2004 olympics they were not best in thte world. MLB has also fallen in international play. It's mostly about money and Danna will see that
11. I agree the UFC is the NFL of MMA but Strikeforce is not going down quietly. There were some good fights last night with a great main event. At this point Strikeforce has the best heavyweight in the world and the whole country saw it on a national network, for free. The have the best woman fighter in the world and the only real women's division. Dan Henderson just switched and others may for the money. Danna doesn't have the only show in town and he needs to start paying to keep growing. I'd be curious to see last nights viewing numbers and revenue. Strikeforce may be around a while.
12. Fedor and Strikeforce were both winners last night. I also give some credit to Rogers for bringing it to him. He gave him all he could handle in the first round and a couple times it looked like he was going to finish him off. But like a true champion Fedor worked through it and took Rogers down in grand fashion. As a fan I'll agree that I would love to see him in the UFC and fight Lesner and others but I also agree they need him more than he needs them.
13. PNG may want to wait until the whole campus is complete and the parking, and other issues, are improved so their district can be represented well. They may want other team's playoff experiences to be good so teams want to return to. Maybe.
14. LCM had a much better season than a 4-6 record might represent. Can't wait until next year.
15. What tha?? He should have waited until tonights results to see the future of Strikeforce According to Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports, Dan Henderson may have signed a contract with Strikeforce. Henderson will be at the Sears Centre on Saturday for the Strikeforce event as he will work the corner of Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou and Dana White says he has signed, saying.. "I guarantee you 1,000 percent that Dan Henderson is signed by Strikeforce. Dan and I have been friends and we will continue to be friends, but it just didn't work out and he went to Strikeforce."
16. I hadn't seen the recent rankings and I don't disagree about #1 & 2. But depending on the outcome of Fedor's high profile fight his rank could go back up. Of coarse if it's not impressive it will damage his rep.
17. Get an idea how long he will be out. If its reasonable, be patient. If its quite a while or unknown, go to an interim. Now, had Fedor came to the UFC and Lesnar had to back out it sure would have looked bad. Would he have been interim?
18. I don't disagree that he needs to fight Lesnar but since he is considered the #1 PFP fighter in the world it appears he has the respect of MMA fans. I have also considered Danna the best in the business and I thought Fedor needed the UFC for exposure but Strikeforce with Fedor have landed a primetime fight on a major network for free viewing. Something Danna and the UFC either hasn't been able to do or wouldn't do because of money. Makes me wonder.
19. With so much riding on the fight for Strikeforce I hope the fight is on the up and up. And the best part is,,, Its free!!! No PPV
20.

thats 2 game lcm could have possibly won. but gonzale seems to throw pick in the redzone quite often
I expect with Crouch working with Gonzales for the next year, we are going to enjoy seeing him during his senior year
21.
Can anyone report on the condition of LCM's field?  Does it drain well?  Was it by chance tarped?
Very wet, just like everyone elses.
22. Nov 7 live on CBS. Strike force landed a mainsteam primetime slot on a major network featuring the #1 PFP fighter in the world. I considered Dana White the marketing guru of MMA but not a bad move for Stikeforce, an organization considered on it's way out. What do you think?
23. I didn't see the fight but read different opinions and all thought it was very close. I have to agree that "very close" tends to go to the title holder. By far the toughest fight Machida has ever had. Machida, Shogun and Danna all agree there will be a rematch soon.
24. Great job. Keep up the hard work as you enter the play offs
