Hey I gave a heads up about our spring game way back in the early spring, after all the years soulja"s been crying about it, I thought he would make the trip, I guess he likes crying better.  And as for the live  mascots they were allowed back in the 60's, we had a live Bulldog and the Orange Tigers actually had a live tiger and it once got loose during a baseball tournament I think in 1967 maybe 66 was running around in some neighborhoods.

The grades for the past number of years were manipulated by organized cheating, now that the cheating is over with you have a better idea of how much work needs to be done at BISD so instead of saying "see I told you it wouldn't change" everyone (e v e r y o n e) needs to get on board and support the folks who are trying to fix things>

Can't believe these Refs were allowed to do a playoff game....they were horrible and without them NC would not have been in the game,  holding calls right in front of them and no call, interference right in front of them and no calls....the dogs took down a good NC football team tonight and a team of officials to boot.

I think Coach Babin did a great job in his first year as HC, programs are not built in one year, if Coach Babin stays put in Lumberton and gets some continuity going on things should be looking up for the Raiders for the future.  From an old Bulldog good luck to the raiders, Indians and Jags next week lets prove everyone wrong.

Lumberton would have had a better chance of an upset if the Dogs had not lost to GCM last night, and penalties and turnovers will not decide this game, Nederland will.

Hope this doesn't come off in a bad way but last Thursday the GCM Freshmen A team just before taking the field to warm up (most) were on there cell phones, and maybe that is ok....I have not seen it with my team or others.....just saying maybe they need to get focused on football.

The Bulldogs and Indians have been going on for a long time, but the Indians did have a big rivalry with the Yellow Jackets too, and so did Nederland, the dogs didn't play the Yellow Jackets until 1964 and at that time Thomas Jefferson High school was one of the largest High schools in Texas, it took the sixth try before TJ could beat the dogs and it cost legendary Coach Buckshot Underwood his job, but Ned has never tried to be PNG's rivalry and like wise for PNG...it just comes natural, as far as Thomas Jefferson, well as everyone knows they just kind of went the way of the Buffalo.

The best Rivalry between Odessa and Midland, Vs the Ned and PN-G game will never be agreed on by many but as Nation said we fill both sides up every year regardless if one team is down, that is not the case with West Texas is it?  Plus they don't live across the street from each other our rivalry last a heck of a lot longer than the game, it starts two weeks before the game and because Indians and Bulldogs work on the job with each other it last all year long, We go to church with each other, go out to eat with each other, we even like each other. Of course when MCM comes along we both get serious. That is not the case with West Texas is it? Also I've been to all the Bulldog playoffs dating back into the 50's and I have been to a whole lot of the Indians playoff games (all but one in 75), and I can not recall any of ours or the Indians opponents that out did us in attendance(not even close) Bottom line I think we have the best rivalry in Texas because proximity to each other is so unique, and I wouldn't trade what we (Indians and Bulldogs have for anything else in Texas.

I'm happy to see that Lamar is giving our local players scholarships to play ball, its a win win for all parties, Congrats to Austin.

I think it would be a mistake to unload BF, all the games with the dogs have been tight, and could have easily gone either way, but if you good folks across the tracks are intent in replacing him I can give you the address of Mr. Bobby August.

Yeah I remember when they started calling it Mid County Madness, before that it was just Bulldogs and Indians, But I agree every year keep calling it MCM and at the end of the game the Bum Phillips Trophy goes to Nederland, simple enough huh?
