I agree with you, both. I have EC winning this game 34-27 but would it shock me if HJ pulls off an upset? No
-
Whats the take on the next opponent, HJ ? Does EC have the upper hand here, or will it be a 50/50 game? It would appear to me that there's a definite size advantage on both sides of the line for the Hawks, but the Bucs will have some advantages in other positions from what I am hearing. Should be a good contest.

AAW, Did OF slide into the Top25, in 3AD1? I noticed they didn't move Woodville down very far. By their standards, it would be a quality win for OF, but I feel like we all knew OF was the heavy favorite. I was just curious if OF bumped up or not in the rankings.

What are your thoughts on this game? Last year, Hardin was victorious 26-6 when they hosted the Bulldogs. CC is coming off a 33-0 shutout win at Tarkington last week. The Bulldogs seem to be much improved from a year ago and will give the Hornets a good test.
-
Looks like he was able to command the O with ease against Rice. Does this mean EC is now locked in the 2 spot and will contend against Orangefield for the DC? Will be interesting to see how this unfolds between EC, OF and Hardin. All 3 teams have different yet effective styles.

Orangefield (35) @ Woodville (14) FINAL
kirkwood29 replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
OF at this point is definitely my favorite to win over EC and Hardin for the DC -
What was served with the crow? Some things I learned after week 1. Orangefield is a little better than good. EC is good Hardin is almost good.
-
I had Newton in an upset in my pickems. I decided to go with the odds and switch my pick to WOS. That said, give me WOS by 4.
-
I was wrong. Hardin almost covered the spread. Great way to start the season Hornets.
-
There's a lot of receipts being collected in this thread.
-
i think this is more spot on, as in hardin grabbing an early lead and getting the starters rest to stay healthy, etc.
-
Orangefield at Woodville. I am giving Woodville some points for being HOME. However, I still think the Bobcats come away with the win here. OF 20 WV 19

East Chambers Buccaneers At Rice Consolidated Predictions
kirkwood29 replied to gonelsons's topic in High School Football
I understand that Rice lost quite a bit from that squad last year to graduation? EC may have a shot at this one. What's the new QB's name? -
What does Warren return this year?
-
Perhaps an anonyms donation?

I'd think CC has the advantage at home, but something tells me they will have to score a lot of points to keep up with this healthy Bronchos offense.
-
What are your predictions for this one? I don't know a lot about Warren or what they have coming back for this season. Can they keep it close? Looking at last year, it was played in Warren and the score was Hardin 27-6

Which QB got the reps with the 1's ?

This is wild.

Hardin at Hull Daisetta (varsity only) Hardin scored twice and HD moved the ball a bit but did not cash in. Was told quite a few starters for Hardin only played one series and then it was time for backups. Was also told HD will be better than some may expect. Not real sure how they did last year, but was informed they are improved on both sides of the ball.
