  1. Who are the top 5 teams in this region ? We know who #1 is obviously : Newton
  2. 10+ win season for the Hornets? And will they get to Newton for a re-match in Round 4?
  3. Has been this way for a long-time. It's just now "public info" and premiums are being paid. All of the power 5 pay well and because of that, they win at a high-clip. These players 30-45% will play on Sundays, so they have to stay ahead of the pack. The common folk truly have no idea how much money is involved. Arch Manning was worth around 6-8 million before he stepped foot on campus. That's just one example.
  4. Look at the comments and links posted above, he appears to have been enrolled in BH for a few months and even played in the Spring Game, with a whole arss news article write up on him. That's what I mean about this going on for several months without a resolution. Like, what in the world is happening here.
  5. I'm just curious, but with somebody as high-profile as this family with it being a high-profile school such as BH, how come very few if ANY, knows any accurate information regarding this kid and where he's playing in 2026 and the details? This has been going on for MONTHS now and nothing is definitive ? How so. It's like listening to CNN and FoxNews reporting on the Peace Agreement between Iran and USA around here.
  6. To the Hardin people on here, who is replacing Jones on both sides? BIG BIG shoes to fill.
  7. Now that I am living up here full-time, this is the closest team to me and I will be watching a few games this year, along with Pineland West Sabine.
  8. This guy is about to turn a lot of heads.
  9. Thats wonderful for the young man. I was able to watch him throughout his senior year a few times and thought very highly of him. He will excel in collegiate ball, I believe. What are some other players to watch for, this year for Hardin? It's 2.25 hrs from my lakehouse to hardin, but I plan on getting to a game or two.
  10. Just recently retired to Toledo Bend, in the Fairmount (Six Mile) area, south end of the Lake. Fishing is the sport I love most at this stage in my life. Excited about competing in a few tournaments here on Toledo throughout the year.
  11. has the transfer still not been approved ?
  12. I have asked. Nobody has an answer. And the kid who had better offensive stats than him is also not playing from what I hear, unless that changed recently?
  13. 3AD2 Pre-Season Rankings 1 Newton 6 Canadian 2 Troup 7 Daingerfield 3 Tidehaven 8 Jefferson 4 Idalou 9 Blanco 5 East Bernard 10 Edgewood 11 Poth 12 Woodville 13 Hardin
  14. Exactly. I genuinely have no idea, but it sounded good. Ha!
  15. No, they aren't transfers. They move into the district because they want to live in the 7th fastest growing community in the state of Texas with amenities. The topic is about "transfers" as it pertains to athletes. 1 in 10 athletes transfer due to academic/divorce/relocation of parent(s). 9/10 transfer for athletic purposes.
  16. Was there ever one that wasn't for "athletic reasons" ?
  17. I agree with this statement and have been saying this for many years. The UIL has no idea what is about to him them in the next 5-10 years. Not everyone is playing by the same set of rules. At some point we have to stop with the non-sense about controlling where we send our kids to school and whether or not its for "athletic purposes". Well NO JOKE every single transfer in the history of transfers is for athletic purposes so they can learn to adapt or get left behind as more options become available. I too believe you will start to see committed seniors opt out of their UIL ISD senior year and take the road that better suits their career path.
  18. Not saying you are lying, but how did the score end up being 2 TD's difference if that's the case?
  19. Not sure it's relevant to this situation but it certainly has me wondering what's your guys/gals opinion is. Say, a kid transfers his junior year to another ISD, for whatever the reason may be. For this example, the KID's transfer is not signed off on, yet, he's already highly recruited and received multiple D1 offers. Do you all feel as though it's important for HIM/HER to play his senior year "somewhere" or just focus on grades, hit up some camps and LIFE goes on type of thing. The only reason I use this example is, a few years ago, I caught wind of a D1 committed player in another sport quiting the ISD school sport for their senior year and the COLLEGE they were committed to praised that decision and was very supportive to say the least leaving a lot of us wondering, is the senior year even worth it in their eyes? I suppose not. Very shocking to me. I wonder if that's the case in terms of FOOTBALL recruiting, once you are locked in your junior year, does the senior year even matter?
  20. I thought I read where this move was already signed off on? Was it not?
  21. That's going to leave a mark.
