So whats the truth here? Hemphill reassigned Stark, or both parties mutually parted ways, or Stark is packing his bags and moving on his own choice? I remember a few years ago, another school ran off Tod Stark, or was that the truth? Who knows anymore! Either way, he had a pretty good 3 seasons at the helm in Hemphill.

I think its funny how "us" keyboard Joe's analyze a HS game where kids are performing at a fairly high level, but kids nevertheless, but then when criticize a coaching staff about how the kids executed -- like oh they should have done this, or that or I never would have done that in that situation, etc. Same team mind you is 4 rounds deep and on the way to Jerry's world, but we're on here talking about where they made mistakes or not. I just like to poke a little fun.

Agreed. I like Bellville by 13+ in this game. My Carthage Bulldogs will be ready for Gilmer on Friday. Next week is essentially a warm up game for Bellville, should the Brahmas cruise on over to Arlington as well.

89, do you have Jasper playing Bellville close or getting behind the 8 ball early and never really in the game say "after halftime" ?

The coaches/players of the by far and away district champion get hosed in these awards every year. There's girls on the bench in 7th grade at BH middle school who are more deserving of "all district selections" than some of these at various schools. And for the life of me, I can't fathom a "coach of the year award" going to a school who didnt win the DC ? But its 2023, so everybody gets a trophy.

Definitely going to try and make this one.
