Long year for Anahuac?

Beautiful school in a great area, hard to believe they are going to struggle that much. PNG & Huntsville are at the top of this district, what is left after that?

Does Nederland still have their league? How are the Cats looking this year?

I think Kountze will be the 4th place team out of this district.

I've heard we look good, when is the last time we have lost to Hardin in football? I will have to see it to believe it, I know Orangefield brings back a lot off of a district championship team. I think that OF VS EC will be for the district ship!

This has to be one of the strangest coaching searches/hires for a premier program I can remember. Silsbee has to be one of the best jobs in the state based on potential to win big and consistently. No disrespect to Coach Brown, but did they ever win any post-season games at Anahuac? I remember them getting in a couple of times, but I cannot remember much beyond that. I thought this would have brought in some heavy hitters. Regardless, good luck to the Tigers moving forward.

This surprises me, I would have thought with HF's recent success and new gymnasium they could have gotten a really good coach in Longhorn Country.

Robertson would be a great hire. Is it really true Mitchell has friends post on here? I've always thought he did a great job of getting his teams to play hard but they havent been all that great without the kid that played ball at Lamar.

Former Orange County coach for WOS? Used to be Green & Gold and had a lot of success. I wonder if he is getting the itch? That new gym at WOS is a palace.

I know this is a bad look, but do you think referees are prone to hand out these techs because of some of the issues they have "Heard" about? Ive seen a few referees locally over the years who will hand out techs like candy on Halloween.

I havent gotten to see much ball this year so I am going to watch Vidor on Monday & the Bucs on Tuesday. I watched the Pirates over the holidays at our tournament and want to see them again.

Good win for Dayton... Kind of a weird start for them so far. Wins over Crosby & New Caney & they got 20 popped by Kingwood Park.

I am very excited that smalley is no longer in the district, but this is a bad take all the way around. They have been going deep in basketball & baseball for a while now. LCM better be careful or they will get 20 popped too.... & yes I know we only played Liberty tonight.
