Those guys are always solid, I saw them at PNG last year and they very easily could have won that one.

Lets not get silly... these schedules are made with 2 year agreements (Home & home) This is a new coach at United, he inherited this schedule.

Beautiful school in a great area, hard to believe they are going to struggle that much. PNG & Huntsville are at the top of this district, what is left after that?

Does Nederland still have their league? How are the Cats looking this year?

I've heard we look good, when is the last time we have lost to Hardin in football? I will have to see it to believe it, I know Orangefield brings back a lot off of a district championship team. I think that OF VS EC will be for the district ship!

This has to be one of the strangest coaching searches/hires for a premier program I can remember. Silsbee has to be one of the best jobs in the state based on potential to win big and consistently. No disrespect to Coach Brown, but did they ever win any post-season games at Anahuac? I remember them getting in a couple of times, but I cannot remember much beyond that. I thought this would have brought in some heavy hitters. Regardless, good luck to the Tigers moving forward.

This surprises me, I would have thought with HF's recent success and new gymnasium they could have gotten a really good coach in Longhorn Country.

Robertson would be a great hire. Is it really true Mitchell has friends post on here? I've always thought he did a great job of getting his teams to play hard but they havent been all that great without the kid that played ball at Lamar.

Is it? I hate seeing him leave our district. The sideline behavior was always worth the 5.00 ticket.

Any updates on this? Horns have been giving people fits the last few years, how were their sub-varsities? The transfer portal has been good to the horns lately.

Crickets on these jobs I guess, both of these schools have been good in the past.
