    No yall gotta be stopped. You act like silsbee just goes out and recruits kids. Family ties are a thing. His dad is from Silsbee. He knew to get OUT OF BMT and go back to his roots. Silsbee.

    I agree, Kountze games should be good if their "move - ins" stay eligible. I have personally been contacted by two coaches in our district asking me to type a letter and file a formal complaint, since the letter cannot be anonymous and I assume they don't want their names attached, but I wont be attaching my name to anything like that either since; Sells, Donald, Smart & Coffey are all my former Texas A.T.T.A.C.K. Squad players. With that being said, I don't have to agree with decisions that are made for me to always care about my players and want what is best for them.  There is just a lot of talk going on about a team that didn't even make the playoffs last year and their newfound success.  I am not sure one of the on the cusp playoff teams would be willing to miss the playoffs due to a situation like this.

    I have faith in our young men and coaches. The wins will be that much more knowing we are doing it the right way!

    This is absolute garbage of the two coaches in the district (not you). How soft are we these days? Take the only kid in question out the equation and Kountze is still 15 points better than their district. Cry baby head coaches kill me with that.

    There’s others , but I wanted to name the two with the most impact on Silsbee athletic program…

    Jordyn is a Beaumont kid 100% 

    Tyler is not. 
     

    Like I said, there are not that many that came from Bmt that weren’t Silsbee kids.

    Everyone knows Tre is a Silsbee kid. Dad from Silsbee, mom from Kountze. Lived in Silsbee, went to school in Silsbee.. they moved to Bmt and he went to legacy… then moved BACK to Silsbee.

    UiL needs to nip that in the butt..  every other school in the state wants to be the biggest school in their district. Not BC I guess lol won't see OF opting up.. I can't recall any other opt ups for other than travel purposes 

    Who wants to play Silsbee, Jasper, WOS, and HF all in district? That is why lol

    for me,  after watching #4 the past three seasons do what he has done on the Varsity level that's hard to believe. never said the young man's name though

    Jasper defensive coaching is top notch. Unfortunetly, it will not matter tonight. You can try to coach a tree how to fall down but if you don't have the equipment to make it happen, it won't.

    When BH won State we had an unbeatable 1-2 punch in the circle. Sophia Simpson (UT) and Samantha Landry (Louisiana) were a nightmare for teams to get through in a best of 3 series. I have the hope something similar is in the works. A Nutter - Bryant duo could have lots of potential. Stay tuned!

    Excited to see another year of great competition in this district. 

    Here are my projections for the season. 

     

    1. Kountze - A lot of people have been looking forward to this season for a long time. This group have been pretty strong since a young age. Led by Emily Smith who is going to be a Ragin Cajun! She is a phenomenal power hitter with over 50 home runs in her HS career. Also, they have two strong pitchers in Rowinsky and Parker. Catcher Kitty Coe has an absolute cannon from behind the plate and all three players are also solid at the plate. I see them finally living up to the expectations and winning the district plus making a deep playoff run. After this season though, it will be awhile before they are competitive again. 

    2. Kirbyville - Kirbyville lost another heck of a pitcher but they are gaining a very good Freshman class. Probably one of the deepest classes they have had. I can see them fighting for 2nd with OF this season. 

    3. Orangefield - OF had a very good season last year. Went deeper than most people expected for sure. They always compete at a high level and to me, have the best coaching staff in the district. That will always keep them in the top tier. I could easily see them slip into that 2nd spot this year depending on staying healthy and how well the freshmen in Kirbyville handle the big jump. 

    4. Anahuac - These girls played some decent ball last year and had a few wins that were not expected. Coach does a great job at having them prepared for all of their opponents. I believe the 4th spot will be a battle between Anahuac, Buna, and Hardin for sure.  

    5. Buna - Their success or lack of will be solely dependant on thier pitching. I know they have some talent there, but it will depend on what they do with it. With a new coach, you just never know. 

    6. Hardin - I know nothing about Hardin other than they have a solid pitcher. That can only get you so far in a district like this one. 

    7. Ec - Ec is still trying to build a competitve program. They should have plenty of options in their school district, but I do not think they have a very good youth program for the youong ones. 

    8. Warren - Warren took a huge loss from their staff and their pitcher. I do not see them competing very much in any district games unfortunetly. Hopefully I am wrong.

    who is "y'all" ? Im stating facts. Im not a Silsbee guy. $a and 6a schools shouldnt even be allowed to play each other. But they do and a lot of times actually win the games. That is crazy. BMT has over 2,000 kids to choose from in each school lmao Silsbee has like what, 800?
