Here is something that I have wondered about.

Everyone has seen the video but we have no audio. All of the conclusions say, 68 must’ve reported because he was by the ref. So were two others, however, including 70. If we look closely at the video, the referee appears to be looking at 70 jogging toward him almost the entire time.

All we are left with is two people, accusing each other. There appears to be absolutely no proof of either side of the story.

    However…..

It has been reported that the referee went to Dallas and reported that 70 was a designated receiver. If that was true, even if that had been a mistake, should the play be allowed to stand?

An example is that I’ve seen this from high school to the pros, if a referee has an inadvertent whistle, the play ends. They don’t speculate and play what if but the referees mistake negates anything in the future. We may have seen plays in the past, and I remember a couple, where a person broke into the open but the referee blew the whistle. They cannot speculate on what might have happened. If the referee makes a mistake, nothing after the mistake can go forward.

So if 68 actually reported to the ref but the ref went to Dallas and mistakenly said it was 70, should the play go forward? Dallas could legitimately say, we did not line up to cover 68 because he should not have been an eligible receiver.

The stuff that Campbell said about drawing up the play before the game on notifying the officials, which apparently is routine, should be meaningless within the rules. I imagine that’s just to give the referees a heads up of what “might” happen because what if Campbell wanted to run the exact play that he showed the referees before the game, but changed his mind and use a different lineman as a receiver? His excuse of, I told him before the game what might be coming… So what? Is his play calling limited to what he told the referees before the game? That would be ludicrous.

I think you are spot on with your statement. I would be beyond mad if I were a lions fan, but I’m not. I’m a COWBOYS fan and have gone through this before when the nfl didn’t know what a catch was.
    Dez caught it!!!

Must beat the redskins to get to 12-5, and lock up the 2seed.

    GO COWBOYS!!!

Do not be surprised if they are 10-6 after Detroit They are simply not very good. One of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. They have an extremely poor secondary and the two inside LB’ers are possibly the worst 2 LB’ers in the NFL. Every time I watch them play, I can tell they are not coached very well. They will most likely be 1 and done in the playoffs. On the bright side they have more excuses than the law allows

I think they win round 1. The key will be if the 6 seed wins or not. Need to avoid the 49ers as long as possible

The NFL is a matchups league. Some teams are just terrible matchups for others. If the Cowboys are truly going to be SB Champs this year they are going to have to beat SF which is a terrible match up for them especially on the road. So when I say "frauds" I don't mean they are not a good team (they are). I mean they aren't good enough to beat SF which is all that is gonna matter again this year at the end of the day. I like them to beat Miami this week and that will get the hype train up and running again.

I agree with you.  I think the COWBOYS are good enough to beat anybody in the NFC except the 49ers.

    AFC: Bill's, Chiefs, Dolphins, Ravens

NFC: 49ers, Cowboys, Detroit (Meh), Eagles.

These are the top teams in my opinion and almost all of them are deeply flawed in one way or another with the exception of the 49ers. I believe they are easily the best team in the NFL.

    I agree with you 100%.

However, if the COWBOYS are frauds, then the dolphins are frauds as well.  The dolphins are 10-4 and have ZERO wins against teams with winning records.

dolphins wins: chargers, patriots twice, denver, giants, panthers, raiders, jets, redskins, jets

dolphins losses: bills, eagles, chiefs, titans

I think what hurts even more than those years is what the last 4-5 years of Romo could’ve been if he’d stayed healthy.  I think the boys get a ring, maybe two.  He spent his entire career keeping a mediocre team relevant, and they finally put a good team together and he didn’t get to play with it

I agree 100%. Romo was a very good QB. He should be a HOF’er, but may never get there, and will be in the COWBOYS Ring Of Honor

Keep drinking that Jerry water and you'll be buying more stock in Kleenex.  The pavement princesses have NOT proven that they can win on the road.  So far the pavement princesses have had 3 chances and failed miserably in all 3 attempts.... Eagles, 49ers, Bills.

With a win tonight The Eagles have the easiest remaining schedule (giants, cardinals, giants).  49ers only real test will be Baltimore and the pavement princesses still have to go to Miami and the Lions at home.

It’s not Jerry water, I was a fan before Jerry bought the team. However, the Jim Beam may have a small impact.
Will you please tell me who you consider good teams in both conferences? I would like to continue our debate but you provide nothing but COWBOYS hatred.

Very impressive list of wins 😂🤣😂🤣. NO one on that list has a winning record except for the Eagles.  Also, thank you for furthering my case that the pavement princesses are frauds.

So is it safe to say you won't give a fraud vs non-fraud list.

Again there are only 13 of 32 teams with a winning record.  Which means the nfl as a whole is bad.

The COWBOYS have 4 losses.  They lost to arizona by 12 and lost to the eagles by 5, then avenged the eagle loss with a win by 20.  The 49ers and bills beat the COWBOYS like tied up indians because they were more physical.  There's only 1 team that I worry about and its the 49ers.  The COWBOYS can beat everyone else in the nfc which means they have a realistic chance to play for the nfc championship.  That doesn't speak fraud to me.

Besides beating The Eagles and seahawks.... WHO have the cowboys beat?!?!?!?!? I'll wait.

Philly...Wins against the dolphins, pavement princess, chiefs, bills

SF... Wins against the pavement princesses, The Eagles, seahawks (twice)

Baltimore... Wins against the texans, browns, bengals, jags.

Was that your list of frauds or non-frauds?

The COWBOYS have beat the giants twice, jets, patriots, chargers, rams, panthers, redskins, seahawks, and eagles.

Hmmm, I'll till after tonight's game to answer.  Might be another team with more wins and less losses 😉

    #dallaspavementprincesses #dallascantwinongrass #jerrysmoneydoesntbuyawaygames

I expect the eagles to win the game tonight.  So let's give them the win which puts them at 11-3.  So that will make 3 teams with better records than the COWBOYS.  There are only 13 of 32 teams that have a winning record.  The COWBOYS are one of those 13.

I just really want to see your fraud vs non-fraud list.

🤣 Frauds... F R A U D S!  One win vs a team with a winning record and the cowgirls are absolute garbage away from Jerrys world.

There are only 2 teams, the 49ers and ravens, in the nfl that have a better record than the COWBOYS.  So I guess the other 29 teams are frauds as well?  Or better yet, please give me a list of frauds and non-frauds.
