A loss is a loss and the score is what it is. If you look deeper though the O gave away 14 points, in addition to keeping the D on the field the entire 1st half. Take away the free 14 points Katy was given by the O and the score is 27-14. A little different. Bottom line is the D played tough despite the final score even though the O kept them in a bind almost all night. Once the O gets going I feel confident the new system will get rolling. Katy was a very good team. Like I predicted a month ago, a 1-4 start would not surprise me, but that would still leave BH 1-1 in district at that point. Give the team and new coach at least the first half of the coaches first year before judging them too hard. I see potential.

I understand they have 3100+ enrollment and still growing fast. 6A for sure.

I think the D stood up real well in the 1st half. They were on the field 95% of the time, and only gave up 14 points against a larger team. The other 6 points belongs to the O and punt team.

"seven or eight" is a whole lot for a 4A team. Heck its a lot for anyone.

Thats the first game I made this year. The Lady Eagles were just overmatched height-wise by 6A Clear Lake.

That's what I am going to do. I was going but since Carthage is playing shorthanded I just don't think its worth it. TV for me.

I cannot find the "Games Near Me" search feature. I used to be able to search in a 25, or 50, or 100 mile radius for any games being played. Does the app still have that capability?

I am sincerely sorry to hear that. Its hard to bury people in your community and then gear up for a football game while playing shorthanded and possibly even being infectious. I had planned on going tomorrow but now I am just going to wish everyone from both communities the best.

That was not aimed at BU. King Cougar 14.2 and others went to great lengths to gleefully illustrate that BH was going to get murdered by North Shore in the future, but he and others remain stone cold silent when it applies to BU. You are right, its a given. NS beats everyone except Westlake and maybe Katy. I still think though that the NS's and Katys end up in a 7A.

If you look at how the UIL operates, they "consider" things before they do them, so not to catch schools, AD's, coaches and the public off guard. Also others like Stepp have said, the current squeeze due to all the new schools will have to be addressed. Its not optional. Far and away the most likely scenario is creation of a class 7A. Again, like I said, its going to shake out differently than the past. Stop looking back at how things "were". North Shore will certainly be 7A. Atascocita too. Actually BH is fortunate. Just as the BH numbers grow, the 7A is very likely created. You might as well just get over it. As far as Westerberg, heck yeah he was over paid and he underdelivered. I agree 100%. But that's history. Going into the 2021 season, who even cares? Why are you ranting about TW from the past you have no connection to? They just hired a much better coach. That's all that matters now.
