Again, BH will not be aligned with (soon to be 7A) NS and Atascocita anytime soon. They are 2X as large. Even with the steady growth BH is no where close to that for many years. So the fantasy about BH being "eaten by NS and Atascocita" is just that, a hopeless fantasy dreamed up by the typical BH critics.

BH is a long, long way off from being as big as Atascocita or North Shore. Don't hold your breath. Or actually you can if you want to, LOL.

What I am trying to say is that the eventual 6A-ll district after the creation of a 7A may end up being similar to the current 5A-I district, number wise. If BH grows like it is projected to, then the team grows larger and stronger too. With Absek's arrival, I think good days are ahead for BH football.

Four more years is about when the 7A thing happens, probably. Who knows how it will all shake out.

I agree with that. Achieve a judicious balance. For example, If you are fighting to win the district against the #2 team, throw your best at them. If you are up by 20+ in the 4th against a weaker opponent, sub in generously. If your opponent happens to start to rally, you can re-sub the starters back in anytime. How many times have there been laments about someone getting hurt during garbage time. It happens needlessly. Also take out your starters if a game is getting chippy. I would not put it past a hothead opponent to take cheap shots in the final minutes if they are PO'ed about losing.

Atascocita has a lot of potential this year. A whole lot. But until they beat out North Shore, NS clearly owns the district. NS could very well win State if they can settle on the offensive personnel. Their D is totally legit.

I did not play "every snap" but somewhere between 95% to 98%. It was exhausting I admit.

I don't know about "winning" a scrimmage but you sure can lose one. Imagine your QB or RB blowing an ACL. That would surely be a loss that night.

I don't think a lot of the posters here want to hear the truth! But thanks for sharing that anyway. Its funny how perception outweighs reality in the publics mind. The most glaring example in my mind is Ben Roethlisberger and Deshaun Watson. Ben and some woman were literally passing out drunk on the floor and had sex at some kind of wild party, and Ben was crucified by the media, the public, and the NFL. Zero presumption of innocence. Deshaun Watson has 22 sexual assault allegations corroborated by 22 different women who don't even know each other, and no suspensions, no charges, no arrests, no nothing has come. Watson could even play this week as far as everyone is concerned. At least Watson didn't let 2psi out of a football! Heads would roll!

Personally I never think of Crosby as "average". I think you are the clear favorite to win the district, and the clear favorite to advance X number of rounds. Pretty easy call for me. I think most everyone would agree too.
