Anyone tracking the Hallsville pitch count?

Looks like a tough draw for BH, but you would expect that in the finals. Hallsville will pitch ace Landon Bowden, a super Soph already committed to TCU. He is a strikeout king with a miniscule 1.14 ERA.

I hope BH makes the right choice, not necessarily the fast choice. Its worth waiting to get the right one.

BH vs. Hallsville for the finals. Incidentally, Hallsville was the team the BH beat in the semis last week before they won it all. Hallsville has some great fans. Very polite and classy. This game should be great.

Thats right, and along with the facilities, the best thing they have is growth. The whole 59 corridor is exploding. Of course it is a challenge getting a late start with a June hire, but keep in mind it is a one time thing, so the effect is transitory. Splendora was not going to win state this year anyway.

Yes not taking a thing away from Deer Park, but BH would have hit much better against Judson than DP was able too, otherwise they are about the same. That, in my mind, is the difference that make BH #1 in Texas.

With 4A Liberty, 5A Barbers Hill, and 6A Deer Park all State Champions, HWY. 146 is the epicenter of TX HS SB!

As I said earlier the ranking are what they are, but after later watching 6A Deer Park -Judson on NFHS, one thing I am highly confident of is that Barbers Hill is THE best team in the state of Texas. With that in mind, if BH is clearly the best in Texas, its very plausible that the Lady Eagles are indeed the best in the nation!

BH gets Amarillo Thursday at 4 pm.

I think Aledo vs. Lake Creek is the final next year. Lake Creek was undefeated until BH beat them. LC had almost all Juniors, too. Good luck to you guys. You have a great year ahead.

Congrats to Aledo. They are A FINE team. Their base running was the best I have seen all year. Their pitcher was great too. Aledo is mostly Juniors, so look for them to be back in Austin next year. Also congrats to Hallsville. They have a fine team and some really great fans.

Sophia Simpson. Going to UT next year. It appears BH coach Fuller saved her for the final. In the semi against Hallsville, Samantha Landry was stellar. Landry (17-1, going to ULL) pitched a one hitter with 12K's. Two aces!

BH has very reasonable, knowledgeable fans. I have never seen the whole fan base erupt in anger the way they did then. I am far from alone. Everyone saw it. Anyway, it don’t matter! Eagles Win!

Yeah usually there is a bad call or two both ways because the umps are human. I get it. In this game though BH was on the short end both times. Lady Eagles overcame it!
