Ofcourse these are matchups if things stay on track the way it is as of now.

I think if the hill can come out swinging prior to kickoff they can follow the momentum and keep things close, PNG nearly did it last year, why can't the hill?

It's been a long time since our district has balled out and swept the 1st round so I'm hopeful to achieve that this year.

Tell me what yah think.

Also, DCTF has Crosby at #3 and barbers hill at #10 (Per computer rankings)   things are getting wild

If it stays this way I could see it.

I could see BH beating FBM . Only because I think Marshall playing that super weak schedule does more harm than good. I tried to watch some of their games but my love for football won’t let me watch something that terrible. I believe Crosby and BH 9th grade would soundly beat most of those teams in that district. One thing I can so tho is they are very fast and nasty. They sho zero sympathy for those weaker kids on the other teams😂

Them and Lancaster (minus the MHS game) I cannot watch after half a quarter. It's ridiculous man.

They almost did last year. I know horseshoes and hand grenades. I just think that cupcake schedule makes them come out a lil flat in the first.

There schedule might be soft but I'd bet those players are healthy come tournament time. Aledo was the same way with FWISD. Not very competitive games but we were not hurt and had a lot of confidence going into the post season.

Yeah but yall played Cedar Hill and Frisco pre district. Got to feel some fire. They haven’t even had that. If you have time check out some of their game recaps this year that shits laughable its like they play the bad news bears every week.

Just went and checked out FBM stats for the year and even with playing a weak schedule their stats don’t show them to be a power. Looks like their QB banks is a one man show.

The WR is a grown man. 6’4 basketball star. He’s near impossible to stop because of his height and physicality not your typical bball star turned football player.

When it’s all said and done he will be able to play football pretty much anywhere

Thats already. Sounds like he likes A&M from an interview I saw.  He said of all the places he visited that place felt like home. Not to mention fellow alumni Devon Achane is already there. I’m just glad he staying in Texas

A&M has already had one successful basketball star turned football star in Galveston Ball's Mike Evans. Be a good fit for him.

    • I would not say NO ONE REALLY CARES WHAT HAPPENS WITH BASEBALL.. All you have to do is go to Ford Park every weekend and look at how much money parents pour into baseball.. lol I get what you are saying.. but look at it from this point of view... WINS look good on resume correct? Would a AD do better if he has all his multi-sport kids stay in his program? Again they are usually the more athletic kid. Is his actions driving away the more athletic kids to "concentrate on one sport"? Sometimes more is not better.. Kids get burned out really quick if they believe their AD/Coach does not care about their personal athletic dreams and desires.  Like I said.. a Good AD knows how to navigate this issue.
    • Never understood why you can't be good at all 4 major sports. If you are talented enough, and athletic enough to be a Regional Finalist football team, then you would think you would be athletic enough to at least be competitive in basketball. If you wanted to be...... And as big a baseball town as Jasper is, where did that tradition go? Where are those kids now?
    • Can't blame the AD. Texas is a Football mecca. If an AD does poorly in football, but decent in baseball, he may be looking for another job soon. If he does great in football, then no one really cares what happens with baseball, generally speaking. He's trying to keep a job and bolster his resume' for the next chance to promote his career.
    • there won't be a scheduling problem... cause AD's don't allow them to play.. its a nice double standard they like to use.
    • Sorry, I didn't know that. I guess they can do both, and if there is a schedule problem, the kid will have to decide.
