What a season cats. I’m not a basketball guy at all. You guys sure did have one heck of a season. Game was very winnable. Turnovers will kill ya.

Sad to see. This team was just in the state championship less than 10 years ago. Sucks to see how far down this program has came.

Some local talent playing on big stages last night. Ayden Sunday(Nederland) gets his first collegiate hit for Lamar as well as Ethan Ocegurea(Bridge City) gets a little time out of the bullpen. Lamar falls to Texas A&M 25-5. Brady Corcoran(Nederland) gets the SAVE for McNeese State as they beat #1/#2 LSU 7-6 in Alex Box Stadium.

This will attract some major candidates I’d say. Good district and always has a good ball club.

Looks like Sac State will head to FBS also. They will join the MAC as a football only school. Lots of travel for them.

Also to add. NDSU will play a full mountain west schedule, but will not be able to participate in conference championship, bowl games, or CFB until 2028.

Bisons are heading to the Mountain West in 2026 for football only. I think this is an awesome move for the Bison. They should start competing for the MW title immediately.
