I really don't think y'all are appreciating exactly how injured Huffman is right now. If they get their kids back they will immediately go back to being one of the best teams in this district. Of course it won't matter in the standings but someone from that other district is gonna catch a loaded 4 seed for sure. Our team was so beat up against LCM and especially Lumberton that they switched to a 4 man front which they've never ran and it showed. They have two Freshman and two Sophomores starting in their front 7 on Defense. None of them were starters early on and two are only on Varsiry because of how beat up they are. Prior to the LCM game I stated in another thread we had 11 starters out with Injuries. Tonight it was closer to 14. Its hard to be good as a 4A team with that many Injuries. You just dont have the numbers to overcome it.

I was 4th out of 10 in my GED testing class and what I would consider to be in the upper echelon of my class.

If you're 35 or younger then you probably played on a playoff team every year you went to Crosby except '18. Senior year sucked but junior year went 10-2, undefeated district champs and lost to La Marque in the dome in the second round. Ran for over 1,000 yards, was first team all-district and signed D1.
Since you asked though? VHS wasn't as easy to make highlights on back in the day but my son did find this technicolor footage on Youtube while searching for some film of the old man. Dropped over 250 yards on Dickinson in this one but all you need watch is the first play from scrimmage to answer your question: 
 

Like I said earlier in the week those injured players being out really hurt Huffman tonight. I still thought we  could pull it out though. That's not to take anything away from LCM as they were clearly the better team, but it would have been way more competitive without all of our O line and d line injuries.
Good job LCM. 

I'm definitely not about to drop names and positions so that it can make its way back to LCM but I promise you it is WAY more than 2-3 kids.

He's 5'11. Probably weighs 175 or so.....lifts religiously.

Harvey is the ultimate team player. He does it all and does it well. He lets the opposition pick their poison and makes everyone around him better. I think everyone is kinda getting blinded by the young Tigers. I know the Falcons wouldn't have won this ballgame without Harvey but their next 6 players were underclassmen. They aren't gonna fall off the face of the earth next year. They should match up well against Boerne and could very easily win that ballgame. They do it in a very methodical way but it's a way their coach has them buying into. I don't think they'll have a shot in the title game but I would never have dreamed a month ago when they left Sour Lake they'd be in the state tournament. Congrats to Silsbee on fine season . It's time to give Huffman their due. They are a good ballclub. They are what their record says they are !!
