A friend of mine who lives out that way has told me its Dusty Collins from Hardin.... very good basketball coach from what i understand. 

Any updates on this one?  

Who is the worst football program in the state that paid 88k? I wouldn't think that 68-73 k would limit anybody who is trying to move up the ladder. 

It wasn't that long ago Evadale was consistently making playoff runs, hopefully they can get back to that. Good luck to the new coach.

As long as the key football coaches stay, WOS will not consider "Everyone jumping off the Ship".

Any names for this one? The rebels are usually a good small school club. 

I wonder who the candidates are for this one? WOS is a building a really nice basketball facility, maybe that will get the interest up. 

Warren does have a very nice basketball facility, I would think with an AD title they could attract a solid coach. 

According to maxpreps they were 10-16 last year, the new facility will hopefully increase some interest in hoops at WOS. Anybody have any info on possible candidates?

This should be a good baseball job, hopefully the Lumberton parents will let the new skipper do his job.

Wow! Where is Coach Wilson headed? WOS sure has a high turnover rate for basketball coaches.

The biggest question is will these two proven coaches be able to keep the recruiting prowess going for the horns?

On a serious note it would be fun to see Coach T wearing the Blue & Gold. 

I agree with poster above..... maybe they should divide these teams up based on classifications. Maybe a 4A and Below and then a 5A & 6A team. I am not knocking kids from smaller schools, but I find it hard to believe a kid from Deweyville is one of the top 10 players in the area. 

Looks like this could be a ready made regional tournament contending team with the right guy at the helm. 

I would imagine the interest for this one would be pretty high with the amount of talent coming back, Coach Rideaux set somebody up with a golden opportunity to win right away. 

Any rumors floating around on candidates for this one? 

Looks like the coach from Valley mills steadily improved the program maybe he will do the same in BC. 

Didnt BC win a district championship in football within the last 4-5 years?

10 wins in the last 4 years......... with the majority of those 10 coming against the likes of Kountze/hardin/ & warren. Not sure there is much difference between the teams you mentioned above relative to classification. I do hope you guys hire a good one, Southeast Texas football is much better when the wildcats are playing good ball. 

Outside of the baseball success you could say that Hull Daisetta has been much better than Kirbyville in the last 3-4 years. 

What a district race this is going to be. It looks like teams 1-6 are all solid clubs. 

I have a feeling the cards will right the ship, and make their usual playoff run.

There has to be some good coordinators from good programs in the area looking for their for their first opportunity.
