Interesting, I just thought the LCM would have continued the momentum rather than limp into the playoffs in a mediocre district. How many guys are now playing on Saturdays?

Just all the hype that was made about how good they were going to be, weren't they ranked in the top 10-15 in the state? 

I would say this years team would be very comparable to the bears teams in the past, keep in mind they were competing well in the now 5A district for a lot of those years. If its not about wins and losses, what are we talking about? Are the bears churning out a bunch of future Rhodes Scholars? If thats the case congrats to those young men.

Battlin Bears have been disappointing this season, do they have a chance in this one?

Is the Dischler kid the best running back in the area? I just see the numbers he has put up the last 2 years and they are hard to beat. 

Eberhardt Kid at PNG kid can really play, it would not surprise me if they can sneak into one of those playoff spots this year.

Congrats to the Pirates, its so nice to see their hardwork payoff. I really hope they can make a playoff run, Coach Mathews is a class act.

You're way off.  Lcm has one good year in its history last year and suddenly you guys are a powerhouse?  You are 3-3.  No vidor fans have acted like fools on here and why would they?  They always beat lcm.

If you are recruiting in Southeast Texas you should be better than 3-3.

Ive been out of the loop the last week or so, how did this happen? I get upsets happen, but 2 years in a row the pirates are able to beat the LCM group. Hats off to Coach Mathews and the pirates!

i like Silsbee for the dc and a tossup between WOS Jasper for 2-3 with HF sliding into the fourth spot. 

But with the split divisions LCM is still 4A. Forever WOS has dominated this level.
