It’s called missing 7 starters against Splendora. I think I’ll take Vidor in this one. Did Livingston all of sudden become the Mecca of High School Football? 
 

If Vidor controls the line of scrimmage on the offensive and defensive side of the ball they should win this game. Of course having all their starters back wouldn’t hurt. Good to #23 and #55 back on the field. They are GameChangers!

Sounds like same old bs, but it’s Livingston’s OL vs Vidor’s DL.   Pressure on the QB is the best pass defense.   I think Pirate Offense will score 3 or 4 times.
Orangefield scored 20, so Vidor should put up 4 or 5 TD’s.   If they play like they did tonight.

We really were, and that's what my bro in law was telling me last week with #23 being out. He looked great tonight also and little small #7 got some great yardage too.

#55 definitely noticeable tonight and the whole defense played better.

Who is LCMs main receiver #14? Stop him, win the game.

I have a feeling the Pirates will be fired up to play tonight. Homecoming night and great football weather against a cross county rival underneath the lights, it's a beautiful mixture.

Hope the varsity follows suit.

JV Vidor 44    LCM 21 Final

The feedback I have heard was that practice was much better this week.  I think that has a lot to do with how well the teams perform.
Defensively, I don't think Lumberton scores a lot on this defense but they probably won't get shut out.  
Offensively, I think Huffman is focused on execution this week.  They aren't scoring at the same rate as last year and they know it.  The defense and special teams (punting has been outstanding) has overperformed and that won't last forever.  If the offense has figured some things out and scores quick, this could be a solid win.
And I'm gonna say it, the officiating has been better this year than last year.  There has been a couple missed calls but overall, it seem like the officiating has been fair.  Which means, this game is probably where that luck runs out.  The best quote I read was either here or on the Friday Night app: "I have never not been disappointed by the refs."  Of course this is just a worthless observation.

To my knowledge, all Pirate Home games will be on this site, free.  No announcers, but if you unmute, you can hear PA, crowd, and bands.
