I understand letting kids work out of jams but the kid lost control of the strike zone. It happens to the best of pitchers. Your a fool if you don’t think coaching decisions affect wins and losses. They’ll regroup an be better from this loss. The kid is a great pitcher.

Maybe they didn’t have anyone else off the bench they felt comfortable wifh after playing 9 innings Tuesday night

No doubt!!! Lumberton used that as motivation they took that as a slap in the face. 

Coach Foster from Big Sandy deserves  consideration, any of those guys deserve it. Great year from a lot of these teams around here. BC coach also had a great but all those names above are good names.

Woodville should be pretty solid. They had a very good post player last year who was a Freshman. He had a monster playoff game in the first round against Kountze. They lost in OT but the Freshman kid carried Woodville and almost pulled off the win. I don’t think they put much emphasis on their basketball program . They always have the kids who are very athletic.

That was a great game, Lumberton closed it to 1 with 20 seconds left, this young team is slowly getting better 

Huffman is better than last year 

Huffman won 65-56, really good game!!!! Lumberton cut it to 4 in 4th but couldn’t find a way to win!!!

Coach Babin’s son, Hayden, trains 6-7 days a week. He has trained at Houston Ballet Academy for three years and also competes independently for a few Houston area studios. He dances all over Texas and even gone to Los Angeles for an invite-only dance convention. He has thousands of followers on TikTok and Instagram. He is a gifted kid. His videos online are impressive. 

Hj vs Lumberton scrimmage was really fun to watch, Lumberton is huge!!  Hj is going to be really good!!
