Everyone has something bad to say when in your feelings. I watched just this past weekend that the 3 main players from Kimball shook hands with Yates while in attendance at Spring Ice Breaker @ C.E.King Highschool and as well saying Congrads. I had a different respect for them after I seeing that.

How can you go 31-0 and Win State and still finish the season #2 behind a team that lost in the semis against the team they beat for the Ship. Regardless of the score or who United played they won. Does that count for anything?

Got a call from a parent yesterday saying Manvel more than likely will not be able to play a game at Summer Creek again due to kids items being Stolen out of the lockers of the locker room they used.

I asked that same question and the answer I got was those places were already reserved and alot of the Bigger School gyms are not having playoff games held at there schools due to Covid.

After speaking to his Father his older brother(2013) was a Kountze graduate in all his years attending Kountze. His brother who graduated last year went to Kountze all the way thru 6th grade and went to Smith Middle School 7th and 8th grade and West Brook in 9th grade and 10th-12th went back to Kountze. Sister went to Kountze all years except for Sr. year where she graduated from West Brook thru way of the credit recovery program only offered in Beaumont. Wesley Yates III attended elementary, Middle and now Highschool in Beaumont. They almost moved to Houston up until Dads parents asked that they let him stay and grow up in Beaumont since he was the last grandchild and were retired to help watch him. Mom worked in Woodville and Dad worked in Beaumont in which Mom transferred job to Beaumont and that's what made the move from Kountze to Beaumont after Yates III elementary years.

Jay Bilas is somewhat right.....Yates Mom is from Kountze and Dad is from Beaumont. He would reside with grandparents while Mom and Dad were at work. They officially moved to Beaumont after his elementary years.

This group will be focused today...Big Win yes...This group has played in Big Moments before especially Harris when he and Yates from United played AAU together in multiple tourneys as well as Big Crowds due to playing alongside Lebron James Jr...AKA...Bronny.......Harris and Miller both play AAU for the Houston Hoops and are always playing somewhere every weekend in the summer. They will be ready.

I agree in Harrison and i haven't kept up with Lamar except for going watch the local kid myself. It was a convol that came up by some LU alumni I know. Me personally would like to see his 1st Asst. Brandon Chappelle if going local at the helm if the job became available or even University of Illinois Asst.and ex Lamar player Ronald Coleman if you could lure him away from the Big 10.

It's to no surprise if your 4-? whatever they are on the college ranks you won't be there long. I've watched Lamar 3 times this year to see if I could see why they are not winning and it starts with the Coach as far as recruiting and of the talent your bringing in isn't getting it done and hasn't for the past years or so and there moving to a new conference then best believe they will be moving in with a new Coach.

I feel bad for the kid who missed them.....
