"Considering the circumstances" He didn't have any room to breath because the Oline couldn't block Gunter's rush and the coaching staff didn't do a great job of dialing up some quick routes to get the receivers open quicker neither. All that said he still made a couple impressive throws during the game. There's just not much a pocket passer could do with those circumstances

Yea, just have to replace a lot on the defense and Oline. Hopefully we have a good off-season

Well.... good season eagles🦅 Gotta do some different things on offense sometimes. Diving up the middle, throwing a screen pass, or taking a deep shot every now n then won't work against everybody. Can't always win them all I guess though

Need to try some quick drag routes or something. Make the LBs play honest and that'll help the running game. I don't think I've see a drag route all year though so that might not happen

Why are you going all out your way to support schools getting a large amount of transfers being able to compete against schools mostly consisting of homegrown talent? It wouldn't make sense to you for those schools to compete against other schools who are doing the same? Seems like you don't have a good sense of fairness.

Always things that could have been done better by the coaching staff as well as the players but at the end of the day we got the W and now have a chance to win it all. Hope the team and staff are looking at things that have worked and not worked throughout the year as well as studying film on Gunter and getting prepped for the big one. No need to be over critical on these message boards

TD pass from Babin to Barlow. Good play call by the coaching staff and Good execution by Babin and Barlow. It was all set up by Hunter just being unstoppable second half. Defense had to key in on Hunter

Gotta cut out the penalties. Probably need to try running to the outside a little more also. TH is pretty tough in the middle

Although it looks like TH runs a totally different offense from Newton some of the things they do on offense kind of reminds me of Newton except they have a better QB

Not a great first half but it could have been worse. Guys should be really motivated to make adjustments and turn it around 2nd half. Penalties is probably the easiest fix so we can start there and keep working. Probably gone have to grind this one out

I absolutely agree it's easier. But it's not guaranteed

Enrollment definitely helps but it doesn't automatically mean more depth. 3 of the 4 teams left right now have over 340 but there are several who were eliminated weeks ago. Trinity for example didn't even make the playoffs. Woodville probably has 24 or 25 guys that can actually make a difference in the game. There's not a whole lot of teams with that kind of depth in D1 or D2. Doesn't matter if you have 100 guys on the sideline if you don't have at least 6 or 7 who can actually play
