Don’t know how things have progressed but the current JR class had to cancel games in middle school due to “lack of numbers”.

Interested to see how WV progresses throughout the season. Really want to understand who actually "knows more" about coaching between the WV coaches or the WV fans.

I doubt they would drop 4AD2 enough to impact CS. CS has maintained the same enrollment +- 5students for 3 consecutive enrollments. Very little growth.

Has PNG been similar to Vidor in terms of talent?

Understood, for every coaching change that worked there is one that didn’t work. Vidor will remain in a state where they can be competitive on occasion but will be mediocre to bad most years and it will not matter who is the coach. You are not alone in your logic. Stands are full of folks who believe the same. Coldspring, Woodville and others all wanted new coaches to “energize” the programs with new innovative offenses.

Got it. You are just speculating how you "wish it could be", not really knowing the talent level in comparison to the competition.

The coaches there now are good coaches.

Vidor is definitely “historically horrible”. That is not debatable and it is not because there has never been good coaches in Vidor.

Did they see the coaching change at other schools also? I doubt they know much about any of those schools. Vidor is historically horrible regardless of the coaching. The greatest were able to make Vidor competitive to mediocre on occasion.

Not many teams that rely on sophomores win a lot of games.
