The guy with 100 wins removed his name from consideration because he felt like the team interviewing him had already made up their mind and was uninterested in his interview. There are many upset about that as well. 

    I understand, I just want people to give him a shot I don’t know him but I’ve talked to people that have said great things about his coaching abilities and his personality. Hopefully the players aren’t hearing this and deciding they don’t want to play because they have a chance at being pretty good

Let's not try to overshadow the real issue here by gaslighting by creating a race issue that isn't there. 

    So what’s connell’s record a head coach? He has one year as an assistant coach. Now if people were this pissed about not hiring the person with 100 wins it would be understandable because sounds like he has more experience than both of them combined but all everyone keeps saying is Connell and what all his family does in buna.

    Typical small town politics you, would rather hire the coach with one year of being an assistant coach than someone who has multiple years, Weather it was a grad assistant or not.

    Now all of a sudden people are blaming the school for Girola leaving, but when he was at buna all people did was talk crap about him because he wasn’t living to to y’all’s expectations.

     

    And I know for a fact that the SUP doesn’t know his dad but I guess because she’s black they have to know each other.

     

    It’s sad that all just because buna has a black SUP she HAD to have something to do with hiring one of the few if not the only black coach that’s not from buna but go ahead continue to show y’all’s true colors if Donny lee was still there would his decision have been questioned?

If you're going to talk about a coach with limited experience, KJ has 2 years coaching the girls at Chilton, where his stepfather is the Sup. That's limited experience as well with none of that experience being successful. Connell has 1 year under his belt coaching these girls already. He's been around and helping them out while also being on the bench for the boys games. Yes, if things don't work out Buna can simply move on, but Connell will have almost certainly moved on by then. Why would he come back to a place that didn't hire him, but instead hired a coach who Buna knows nothing about with the exception of him being unsuccessful at his last coaching job? 

    Connell was a boy’s assistant he does not have a year with the girls 🤦🏽‍♂️

    Rumor out of LCM is the next head coach will be the current EC coach, which looks like it would be an absolute horrible choice.  Apparently they never posted the position to their website since the position opened.   Why not post the position to do a complete search to hire the best possible person for a program with the history of success they've had.  Not to mention, the talent.  If I'm recalling correctly from LCM's own JV tournament last year, he was the coach that became belligerent towards his own players and the referees (apparently from some of the EC parents, it is nothing out of the norm).  What has he done at EC?  Looking at past years online, it hasn't looked to good.  Is there more to his background than EC?     

    Anybody know if they even looked at anyone else?  

    If this hiring is true, it will be a sad day for LCM volleyball.  

    I’ll bet money by the end of the year LCM will regret running off  the coach they had…. But on the other hand most AD’s don’t give a crap about volleyball anyway! But the difference will be noticeable 🤷🏽‍♂️

It took a bit to get used to what the new coach wanted out of them, but they’ve caught on now I believe. Also, along with the 2 girls from Kountze, I think Reese Sherman is one of the few front runners for district mvp. To this point in district play anyway. We’ll see how it goes the rest of the way. 

    Reese Sherman is a game changer both on the basketball and volleyball court!
