  1. I am a parent and a fan of Coach Griff and Coach Stephenson, No second guessing at all, Womack was the hottest pitcher we had the last month, Ehlert had pitched a CG and if we would have played this on a Friday or Saturday maybe he does start......who cares, we battled the #1 team in the state and the #5 team in the country and had many chances to advance but the baseball gods were not with us......it happens. Brenham will win the State Championship and that game last night will go a long way in helping them. I could not be prouder of our kids because they are all like my son's, I respect their refusal to quit when they were down 4-0. I love this game, last night it hurt.....but it is a game.
  2. I love it when the triangle comes together to support each other, Thanks BigRed75, good Luck to the Cardinals,Bulldogs and the Eagles of Woodville Let's make it a local sweep........
  3. Without a doubt the MOST DOMINATE softball player to ever come thru SE TEXAS Cody Trahan-LCM
  4. That sounds like a Coach that is very nervous about a 1 game, and I can tell you this, the Bears are more fired up about it than anytime I have ever seen. It's time, It's time for a BEAR ATTACK................ Good Luck Boys kick some bu..
  5. It seems to be down to 2; Womack-LCM Mcfarland-Ned Let the voting begin.......
  6. To close to call; Barrea-BH Murphy-WB Schneider-LCM Coleman-BC Better get voting........
  7. Top 2 to me are: Lemoine-LCM 7hr's Ferguson-WB Better get voting
  8. Jackson-BC Hargrave-Silsbee Rowell-LCM all are in a battle, better vote......
  9. So Far: Seth Williams-Deweyville- 5 votes Taylor Eaves Aaron Hazlewood Trey Kambert all 1 vote
  10. I wouldn't think SS/P classifies as a utility player, in HS most Pitchers play another position.
  11. Nederland is playing some great baseball at the right time and this will be a great test: Montgomery has returned the pitching from last year but has lost some of the offensive pop, Heard and Stone are a solid 1-2 punch. But Game 1 is @ Nederland and I do not expect Montgomery to throw Heard against Smith in that game so I give that game to Nederland, then you face Heard @ his home and I give the win to the Bears series tied 1-1. Now it's down to game 3 Eggleston for the Bears and ????? for the Dogs. The key is make Stone and Heard pitch complete games or 100 pitches so they cannot return in this series. I see Smith closing Game 3 and the Dogs advancing.......
  12. Congrats to the Dogs, really playing great baseball right now and it shows' 204A baby!! best Baseball district around.
  13. I heard a good one yesterday: Kirbyville has a chance.........................................................................until they get off the bus.
  14. BH how is LCM's home away from home......... Much rain last night, are we OK??/
  15. Great job Derrick, good luck at Panola....
  16. Great for Taylor and the McInnis family
  17. Where were you when Ehlert pounded the FB past you guys......
  18. LCM Over Klein- To much firepower for Klein. LCM in 2 Kilgore over Nederland- Do you guys forget about Casy Witmire Kilgore's #1 that throws 92 consistantly. I would take the Dogs in a 2 of 3 but not a 1 game. PNG over Brenham- Brenham has not seen the pitching that the Indians will bring to the table, it will go 3. Huffman over Jasper- Too much for Jasper this only goes 2 games. BH over Silsbee- Silsbee wins one because of Schooling. Bridge City over Kirbyville- in 2 Hudson in 2 Newton Woodville.
  19. Let's see here: 27-4 and a 20 game win streak, Beats #1 BC @ BC 5-1, has played mostly 10 players all year. Not to mention hit career win #300 this year. Will send his entire lineup to the next level? This team was hyped heavy by a few and told no way by others only to prove they are a fine team. Griff is the Best coach in the area, when it comes to game stratagy no one is better....
  20. Woodlands pounds Brenham's #1 and #2 Pitchers Gurka and Kankel for 10 hits and 7 runs in the first 4 innings
  21. It was a great game but let's don't play the enrollment card because BC got beat, tonight they were beat by a better team, with the exception of a great diving play by Hecker at third BC's defense made critical erors at the wrong time and it led to Bear runs, Griff was aggressive and it paid off. I tip my hat to the Cards and I believe they will make a strong run but they need to play better defense and if they do Austin is not out of the question. LCM isn't bad either..........
  22. Wes should be OK he is tough, Knee shot right above his kneecap. We were lucky Dugas moved to short and Martin moved from left to third for the first time this year. Angelle look good and Womack was awesome, Bears just kept applying pressure and it paid off. Cardinals made a few mistakes and Bears scored, congrats to Coleman great night for him. And Ehlert hit a bomb as well, Amazing Feat tonight as the Bears won there 20th game in a row.......Now for sure a school record.
  23. 2008 may not have had anyone attend a Perfect game event, that is the only way you get on this list. Those from the area are very deserving congrats to all.
  24. I made a mistake on my earlier post: Bears used 6 pitchers Dugas-1,Cassidy-1,Adams-1,Hughes-2,Johnson-1,Brown-1 That 3 Kyle's in a row got me.........
