WOS goes 80 yard on 2 plays. Then stalls. Eventually score on a short run

V moved it down field slow and steady.

WOS 1st series does nothing. 3 fumbles

Got here late. Just in time to see the last play of the freshman. Vidor scored with a run to the left. I'm sure there was a lot more before that. JV starting soon

A lot of times there's a surge with the lightning that ends up being the problem. We will see.

I've seen it go both ways. When we had a bunch quit, we lost 4 reg season games. 5 total counting the 2nd round loss to Waller. Finishing 7-5 was terrible season. Some people never let me forget about that year. Then once the group of sophomores that replaced those seniors grew up, we did pretty good the next couple years. Another time when the Sr QB... left, we called up a young sophomore that led us to 3 straight championship games. Winning 2. But you already knew that. I think Nederland will be fine after they get some experience. Probably not right away, and I hope not week 1 at WOS. I'm looking forward to it. Aug 26 is right around the corner.
