From what I’ve seen our run blocking is a lot better than our pass blocking but that’s just my opinion. We ran the the ball pretty good against WOS. I would like to see the numbers after one of our RBs gets 20-25 carries.

Just run the football and only throw 10-15 times a game. I don’t see us going 2-8 but you never know lol.

Both teams have talent. Nederland has as much talent on offense as any other Nederland team in the past, especially at RB. Defensively if they can just line up right and stay with their assignments they will be fine. O-line needs improvement. I’ve seen huge holes for our RB’s at times and bad pass blocking at times. QB play is what is gonna make this offense really good or what we saw this past week at United.

I’m taking WOS in this game.

I saw a few things I didn’t like in Thursday nights game. I think most of it is fixable by our coaches. That includes hustling until the whistle blows or hitting people late out of bounds which happened a ton last year and has already happened in both games this year. If we can’t hustle or play the game the right way I believe it’s our coaches responsibility to take care of it. The little things in this game and in life can make a big difference in how things turn out.

I believe WOS is much improved this year especially at the QB position. The most impressive thing I saw from them was their heart. For the dogs I believe they will continue to get better as the season goes on. Staying healthy is always been key for Nederland. If QB play and tackling improves I think the dogs can have a real good year. Their running game was good and will get better. I feel like they were getting a little over 5 yards a carry against a pretty good defense. Hopefully WOS is on the schedule next year!

I believe this game will depend on how well Nederlands O-line plays. They will have their hands full with that WOS D-Line. Go Dogs!

Ready for Friday! As banged up as we are I wouldn’t mind seeing #11 at RB and #1 at QB at times. Heck I say let #11 even get some plays every now and then on Defense. Go Dogs!

I was impressed with #1 this past week. He has improved everytime he has stepped on the field. Wish we had a healthy tailback or gave the freshman more carries. I think our coaches can come up with a good game plan this week and hopefully we play smart disciplined football. Have fun Dogs. Hopefully you Seniors will extend your career into another game next weekend. Go Dogs!

Landon is a tough kid especially for his size. He plays with a ton of heart. When you play this game I don’t care who you are you’re going to get smashed at least once in your career. Hope all the dogs have a better game this week.

This will be the Dogs toughest test so far this season.

When is the last time Nederland beat Crosby? Pretty sure we haven’t done very well against them. Not to mention they did beat Manvel earlier this year. Just hope we aren’t looking past the Cougars.
