Just got back from Dayton. Not impressed with our effort tonight.  I saw no enthusiasm tonight from our team.  I know we had some players sit this one out but wow. O line needs some serious work.  If we cant get fired up to hit someone else other than eachother in practice, then we will sit at home after week 10. I know these guys can give a better effort than what was shown tonight. 

I had to work Friday so I didnt see the scrimage but it sounds like both teams defense played well and both teams offense had a tough time. The good thing about battling WOS is they help you figure out what your team needs improvement on. Scarry Larry will have the Dogs ready!!!  I will be in Dayton Thursday!!!  Go Dogs!!!

Buddy I still remember that game.  It was on its way to a great finish.  I heard those refs arent allowed back in this area!  Go Dogs!!!

Hopefully we play well and beat Crosby.  I believe they have beat us the last couple of times we played them. I think we have a special team this year and it starts with Crosby.

Amen Vidor!  It was awesome to hear a prayer before a high school football game.  I pray not only my home town Nederland will pray before games in the future but also other schools through out the country.  This country is in decline because of its slow removal of Christianity.  Its a matter of time things will get worse if we dont change the way things are going.

Good Luck Dogs!  I thought GCM moved the ball pretty good on us earlier this season but turned the ball over to much.  On defense we are going to have to get better at getting off the field.  We are giving up to many first downs before we force a punt or turnover on downs.  On offense we have pretty much gotten off to slow starts all season except for the Central game but im confident they are coming around real well.  Im more worried about our defense right now than our offense.  Never thought we would give up 41 points in game even with one of our key players out but there will be similar offenses we will have to deal with this post season.  If we can make the tackle with the first guy that shows up we will be fine. Time to step up D!

Im rooting for the Panthers.  I think they will represent the District well if the can continue to play better and better every week. 

I could use a lopsided score. 4 of our 5 games have taken a few years off my life with end of the game nail bitters.  Hopefully the Dogs will get it going on the Offense side of the ball and be victorius unanimously!!!

Good Luck Dogs!  If we can get it going on the offense side of the ball this team could be special.  Defense has played better and better each week but will be challenged this week. Hope #92 is ok.  Props to our entire D Line last night!

Nelson 14 receptions 196 yards but 4 tunrovers kill PNG in a loss to rival Nederland!!!

When I evacuated for hurricane Ike, I attended a Trinity vs. Allen game.  Allen stadium had to bring in four extra sets of roll out stands in each corner of the endzones.  Awesome atmosphere.  Those extra stands probably held an extra 1 or 2 thousand more people.

Good Luck Dogs!  My prediction is 28-20 Dogs.  Nelson will be tough to defend without one of our best corners out of this game. He is a special player but i believe we have a special team. Go Dogs!

Nederland Bulldogs week (0) PN-G      Why not play them twice a year.  We need to catch up with them on the MCM record any way. week (1) WOS      Even tho they dominate us most years, its a fun game. week (2) Dayton    We owe them from the 63-0 spanking back in the day.
